I had previously bought one of these lamps for my sister, & she loved it. While talking to my sister-in-law the other day, she was saying that her keyboard on her laptop doesn't light up. I told her about these lamps, & she asked me to order two of them. One for her & one for my brother-in-law. They arrived overnight, & they love them! They work from home, & sometimes work a little late in the evening & just need a little more light. They have a light on their desks, but wanted something that is focused right on their keyboards, & these lamps do just that. They really are nice lamps, & they do light up the entire keyboard, which is just what they were looking for. They're very pleased with these lamps.

I bought this keyboard light because I replaced my backlit keyboard with a non-lighted one. I bought the smaller version of this light for a laptop, rather than the larger desktop light. And rather than mount it on top of the display I wanted the light more concentrated and focused so I made a little bracket out of some scrap I had in my workshop. I used carpet tape to hold the light to the bracket.The power cord is about 25"-30" long (I didn't measure it accurately) which is plenty of length to reach a USB port on my desktop. You could always use a USB extender cable if you needed more length.I like the ability to change temperature color from cool to warm (there are 3 choices) and the ability to change the brightness (there are 9 levels of brightness). Another nice feature is it remembers your setting so when you power up your computer it comes on at the same color and brightness level you had. For the price I paid for this light I am extremely pleased with it.

I have bought different light that put a glare on my keyboard. This light actually gives me the ability to see the keyboard without the glare

I have been bringing a separate LED light with me when I eat breakfast in a restaurant using my laptop to do morning work before I get my day started after purchasing this jewel from Amazon, I have no need for an extra light, this is a USB connected light that clips on the top of my laptop screen. I was absolutely amazed by the brightness of this little light when I first turned it on it has options for various color temperatures and brightness options as well I could not believe how good this light was for the price that I paid for it. I highly recommend this light For anyone who needs extra task lighting while working on their laptop.

I have a couple of these and like them. They work well with lap tops that don't have lighted key boards.

Wonderful light. With all the lights off, send enough light to see my keyboard and my sound console. Reduce eye fatigue
