Sheepskin Medical Natural Shape Washable European Quality for Chair or Bed (Large 3.5 Foot)

Purchased the extra large fleece. Very uniform. Open bag, almost no smell. Very solid dense fleece. Sleeps like a dream.I have joint pains, deep aches and a leg that likes to cramp. Lay on that side, and leg shuts up. Pressure points have much relief. Warmth but not baking, night sweats much reduced.On a recent rainy achy night I was sitting up and put it on top with fleece to my skin. Gentle self warmth and an easing of the aches that wet rainy times tend to cause.I am 5’5” (165cm) and weigh about 143 pounds ( 65kg) wu a thick middle. The largest fleece is a little short and not the widest, but I can place myself to be well supported and very comfortable.It has made a big difference in the amount of pain in legs (restless legs, neuropathy and varicose veins, plus developing arthritis). Nights I need just a little more to find comfort to sleep, this helps.I am one that can stand wool yarn items against my skin, but I have had absolutely NO ITCH.Price made me pause, but I liked the description for quality and the assurances of being able to wash it if needed. The recommended soap, is not horribly expensive and formulated to work with this fleece. All instructions on how to wash and dry are also provided.I am very pleased with what I received for my money I may buy another extra large and a smaller one later and trim and sew a wider and longer pad for even more comfort (hobby is leather working) someday.I do recommend this one, genuine fleece is magnitudes better than synthetic (sheepette) and is an excellent quality shorn fleece. There seems to be very little lanolin in the fiber, and for a wool product, not very itchy, but. If you’re sensitive, you may have issues.This is NOT a Vegan product! It is the tanned skin with hair on, of a sheep. If you choose not to use leather or natural animal fibers, then be warned.Photo is the fleece leather side up across legs and feet, when it got cold and achy and rained for awhile.

The media could not be loaded. Well, in the military, I went to New Zealand and visited a sheepskin Tannery. While I was there, I was told the best way to check for a quality sheepskin is to stick your fingers into the wool and if you don’t feel the leather underneath, it’s a great quality skin. This is, a great quality sheepskin. The fact it’s from Poland, has no bearing. It looks good, it feels good and I’m very pleased.

I cut this in 2 and use it as a 2 seat cushions…sheep skin is a butt saver for people in wheel chairs or those who have to sit a lot.
