Due to shoddy manufacture, the lid has a smaller diameter than the canister so that when it is in place there is an unsightly white ring around the top where the ceramic shows. Also the lid is difficult to fit securely and however much you push and twist it always seems to work loose of its own accord, so it is pretty useless as an airtight storage jar. I will have to find something heavy to put on top to keep it closed! Wish I hadn't bought it and definitely will not be buying any more. Made in China, of course... what can you expect?

This is lovely, takes a whole packet of coffee and surprisingly heavy so not easily knocked over and I love the look.

Just as described. Look very classy, only criticism is that they are a little heavy but of course that makes them sturdy,!

Bought for my daughter, for her new house. They look great and she says they are perfect.

Unfortunately the lid doesn’t stay on making it useless
