Good safe, use common sense.
Small or large, any safe can be taken away unless you bolt it down. Now that said, this is a good safe given its price, ( i paid 110.) It will definitely keep the kids out, Fort Knox...no. But, for the money I would say it is the best bang for the buck I have seen. Small enough to keep in a closet, large enough to store 7 Glock cases plus ammo. It is kinda heavy, about 50 pounds empty and appears well constructed with the door being the thickest part. Simple but effective design. The setup is easy, instructions are clear and easy to follow, practice a couple times empty first and then your good to go. You always have the 2 keys, to unlock, just don't lose them and hide the keys as well, just not from yourself.I would recommend a large hardware store to put a battery powered light inside it, 6.00 bucks, magnet back sticks to inside top or side. And to pick up some bolts. I used 3" 5/16" lag bolts. 1.90 each. Drilled 1//4" pilot hole in floor through carpet and socket wrenched them in with washer. If access to basement is there, use regular bolts with locking washers. The safe has 2 pre-drilled holes in bottom and 2 in the back. You may want to add a couple more holes or not.Nothing will stop a determined thief but they will have to tear up the floor to get this, and I read where most are in and out fast...so, getting this or breaking into is going to take some time. Now would I keep lots of cash, family jewels, or gold in here, probably not but it would be better in there than anywhere else in the house unless very well hidden. It is not fireproof but would seem to be ok short of a total burn down. Can't really say much on that aspect. It is what it is.I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product for exactly what it is as covered in my review.

Durable and Affordable Safe
Very sturdy. The storage capacity is wonderful and I have no issues placing items in it. The keypad works with no issues and the battery life is very good. I have had the product for more than a year and haven’t had to replace the battery. Very easy to use. NOTE: The safe can be quite heavy for some.

Large safe, small price
I recently purchased this safe so my wife and I could safely keep items away from our precocious child. This safe was an amazingly low price of $99. It arrived promptly via free "Prime" two day shipping and in pristine condition. After about 15 minutes of examination, battery installation and securing the shelf screws, that apparently worked their way loose in transit, I was ready to secure our belongings. This safe is very well constructed. The safe is made from 1/8th or.125 inch metal plate and very sturdy. It comes with four generic AA batteries for the electronic keypad. It has two "emergency" keys in the event the batteries fail. As indicated in the description this safe is 1.8 cubic feet which roughly translates to about 20 cans of soda or whatever you plan on keeping in it.I have a few minor comments the first being the shelf is not welded but rather fastened by the afore mentioned screws and the shelf wobbles ever so slightly. The second was the quality of the foam pads included and attached to the door to deaden the sound of the door closing. They are virtually worthless and I immediately replaced them with some better, thicker ones from the local home garden center. Finally, I didn't care for how loud the key pad beeps when you enter the code. I wish there was some user method of programming the pad to beep in a lower tone or not at all.I would recommend keeping a flashlight in the safe or keep the safe in an area that has access to some external light source because the safe itself is very dark and depending on where you keep it you will have a difficult time seeing what's in there. It will perform its function of keeping third parties grubby mitts off your property for the majority of users. This safe is not fire rated nor is it theft proof. If you want or need maximum security and fire protection look elsewhere.

It is a great bargain
It seems like it has to be pointed out more and more that there are different types of products like these that serve different markets. This is not a high end safe so don't expect one. But you do get a lot for your money. This is an awesome home safe. Is the lock easily picked? Yes it is. Keep in mind this is a home safe and not some high security hard to crack safe. But even many high end safes are easy to pick for an experienced locksmith. This is an entry level safe that will put up a significant effort against brute force attacks. Seriously it is highly unlikely that anyone is going to get into this thing via brute force without a lot of work. I mean a lot of work. Its weakpoint is obviously the lock but again to defeat it requires more preparation than a typical burglary of opportunity will put in. If you need a safe with a lock that will stand up to even a casual and cheap picking tool then look elsewhere because it only takes seconds to pick this lock even for people with no lock picking experience.Great safe for the money. Keep papers, meidications and other stuff locked up from those who you don't want to have access. Unless you are the lockpicking lawer you will probably be satisfied with this safe for casual security use.You get to create two access codes and have a backup key to unlock it. A little confusing on the procedure to unlock with the key pad as you have to type in your code and then press A or B for which passcode it is. Other than that super simple to setup.

I really like this safeThe batteries it came with were absolute junk and the end broke off the battery… didn’t know that was possible so don’t use the cheap batteries it comes withThe keypad is really loud so that may be good or bad for some pplI like its loud so I can hear if someone tries to open it but it could be bad if u need privacy
