9" Copper Jewelers Tong With Curved Ends for Pickling Solution or Dipping

I got these because they're long and I was hoping to use them for cooking, but they're too stiff for my older female hands to be able to squeeze the ends together unless I hold them close to the ends, which defeats the purpose. I know they aren't for cooking anyway but was hoping they would work. Maybe for somebody else they would work for what they needed them to.
