Color Piano and Keyboard Stickers and Complete Color Note Piano Lesson and Guide Book

I wanted to get my nephew stickers for his keyboard to help him play simple songs and learn the notes but I was worried the colours of the stickers wouldn’t match the music books that have colour coding. This was a win win because not only does the book have simple songs to play like Happy Birthday, but the sticker colours match the music! I had to cut stickers down to fit his keyboard because it was just a small one but it was easy to do. The stickers are clear and easy to apply, they don’t leave any residue on the keys when you peel them off either. My only criticism is the book has a lot of exercises in and not a lot of songs to play, but as a starter kit it’s brilliant. I plan on purchasing book 2 in the future.

I already play piano, but find it frustrating to teach. So wanted something to do most of the work for me. Both my 50 year old husband and my 6 year old daughter have used this book and I’d say have now mastered the basics in learning to play. It certainly sounds convincing, and they can both play the pieces at the end without any help. I need book 2 now but can’t seem to find it.

A very simple introduction to your Piano, orientation and figuring PLUS the piano lesson book to read musical notes. Reading musical notes and understanding what you read is the outcome, applying what you read is the satisfaction of buying this book. Good for absolute beginners at any age. There are exercises to help reinforce and embed the theory into actual self-practice. There are 5 piano pieces at the end of your efforts to validate what you have learnt and exercise while you learn. I thought the piano-key name stickers only goes up to 2 octaves (48 keys in all for both hands) was insufficient if you own a 88 keys electric Piano. For example, the staff notes were missing. No reference is made for progression from this book. Where is book 2? Maybe, you want to follow ONE series! It is worth the price paid as this piano lesson book is very down to earth, engages you , only what you need to know to bite what you learnt. Good introduction.

Bought for my son as he is learning and it really helped with the key recognition, it also has a description of the keys in the little book and exercises which help, and a few easy songs to learn and practice. Also very easy to install, with easy to follow instructions.

I had to cut every single one as my piano has smaller keys than normal one, but it wasn't much of a fuss, really. The the stickers stay on the keys, not affecting playing in negative way. It takes some time to use to the vivid colours but help the beginners to pin-point the right keys. I use the book every day, to cover the fingering and coordination for left hand especially - would be nice if exercises were making a simple, known melodies instead of just random sounds, but well, I'll get there ;)

So I ordered 3 or 4 books for my son and I to learn how to play piano/keyboard and THIS one was the best! The stickers are so helpful, they look so nice, and they were very easy to put on! I searched and searched for the perfect piano lesson books. This one takes you step by step. It teaches you all of the basics! At the end there are 7 different songs with everything you've learned through the book. There are a few in the middle as well. It also always shows you at the top where your hands should be. It taught me so much and I'm sad I made it through the whole book. It says there is a second and third book as well so I am definitely going to be ordering them! So I definitely recommend this book for those wanting to learn or need a good lesson book for their kids to learn piano/keyboard! Thank you for an amazing book!
