Dried Sprats 1kg Natural Fish Dog Treats Chews

These dried sprats are great all natural, no additives, and my dog goes crazy for them. They have a strong smell (as expected with fish), but that’s what makes them so tempting for dogs. Perfect as high-value training treats or an occasional snack. Good quality and excellent value for a big 1kg bag.

These are larger sprats than those supplied by many other pet food sellers. My dog loves them! There are also less crumbs in the bag which mean more treats for my dog. Overall I have found this seller to provide a very high class of dried dog treats at a very reasonable price. I now don’t go anywhere else. If you are feeding a raw diet and want some treats for training or to give your dog a snack then look no further than this seller, you won’t be disappointed. These were not like any other sprat I've ever bought. Much bigger, average 10cm by 1.5cm but also extremely brittle and flaky. Normally I break sprats up to feed as training treats, but these just disintegrated. Many in the pack were already broken. My eat absolutely anything Labrador ate them with reluctance and even the local feral cats and garden slugs turned up their noses. I thought about returning them but was sure the dog would get used to them She didn't, the more I fed the less she liked them. Actually threw 75% of the pack out. Definitely not buying again

Large size sprats and thoroughly dried. Quite a high percentage of broken pieces which I just sprinkle onto their food. If you buy the smaller dried sprats then they tend to be more ‘entire’ My 4 hounds like these as a pre breakfast snack-at 5:30 😀

A real mix of sizes which we loved for our GSD mix. Some were around 10cm+ and chunky. We have reordered as we go through this in a month, no time for them to go mouldy as others have mentioned this.

Bought a few 1kg bags but noticed quality has dropped a bit with a little less whole fish in bag.

Update: My dog loves them, but I couldn't use the whole bag because they went mouldy, which hasn't happened with previous types dried fish treats I've had for my dogs. I note the product description says these are more moist than other fish treats - perhaps that increases the chance of mould. ************************** The most important thing - my American Bulldog loves them. They do have a bit of a whiffy fish odour - which isn't surprising, given what they are. I like them as they are a healthier, natural treat for my dog, and not heavily processed like a lot of dog treats. You get quite a lot in the bag, so they last quite a long time if the dog just gets a few a day, so pretty good value for money
