Glitter Gel Smens - Patented Gourmet Scented Colored Glitter Gel Ink Pens, Medium Point, 8 Count - Fun, Cute, Cool, Smelly Pens for Kids

Just received today. They are very cute and would make a great little gift or stocking stuffer. They were individually packaged except for one. The candy cane scent is pretty subtle and is mostly on the plastic grip near the nib. Writes very smoothly in strong black ink, comfortable to write with, and I didn’t notice any skipping or smudging which is great. I’m normally not the biggest fan of gel pens but wanted to give these a try and have changed my mind in regards to gel pens. They are reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

LOVE these. The colors are pretty, they write so nicely. I love the smell and the glitter. New favorite pens for sure!

Strong scent, very nice, I'm just concerned as to long will it last. We've all bought those promising products only to have them crap out or lackluster after a few weeks of use. I reckon I'll update my review in the future, not matter the outcome.

UPDATE: WILD SMELLS: They have several pens packs listed that you can buy and I assumed they were all glittery pens, they are not. My bad though on the "Wild Smells" packaging it says "7 BLACK INK PENS" but I failed to notice that. They are just 7 black ink pens with no glitter and not really any smell. Unfortunately I cant review each individual set that I buy on their own. I have to attach it to a prior purchase from two years ago. An oversight that I hope someone else notices before they buy them. Given they are attached to a bunch of other glitter pens you would assume they are all glitter pens, but then again its clearly written on the pack what color they are. They did include one white pen. Very disappointed. ALOHA UNICORN SMELLS: These colors are nice and have a nice glitter shine to them. I havent colored anything with them to know if they smear real bad or not. I like the silver, although its not really noticeable it does have some sheen which can be nice for different kinds of coloring you are doing. Smell isn't too strong. GLITTER PENS: These are smooth pens. I am not a fan of gel pens. They constantly stick or jump and its hard to get smooth marking. i ws impressed that these pens are very smooth and they are glittery and sure enough they do smell. They scent isnt real strong unless you have your nose close to the pen ink. But if you are just writing and are sitting back you may not even notice the scent. I added some pictures to demonstrate the glitter appearance. I was trying to capture the drawings from different angles so you can see the glitter in the light. They are cute and add a nice bit of bling to a picture. A bit of warning. Since they are gel pens they are wet. If you rub your hand over the ink too early it will smear. I didnt get for the purpose of drawing or coloring, I just got bored and decided to try them out. Also since they are gel they ghost pretty bad on my moleskin. But I was done with the book so no worries for me. My thicker bullet journal is no match for the pens, it holds up well. :)

I attached an image to show you the colors. They write very smoothly and I like the rubber grip! They only smudge a little bit and that’s because I’m a leftie ! :) keep in mind, it’s not the ink that is scented, but the grip itself. I do not know how long the scent will last, but I enjoy it. To me, the scent is the same even though they’re all different “flavors”. So I encountered the issue of the pen stopping up. This is going to sound weird, but you can possibly fix this issue by carefully taking the pen(s) apart and blowing on the cartridge opening while pressing down on some paper. It should get the ink flowing smoothly again! I had to do this with almost every pen for some reason, and I’ve been journaling just fine the next day and only had to scribble a bit to get the ink flowing from one of the pens again vs taking it apart. Just a little tip, so don’t throw your pens away guys! I know it seems gross, but it’ll save you some money $$! The colors on some aren’t as vibrant as you’d think. Like the strawberry red one is almost pinkish/rose gold. The orange (mango) is the lightest and is my least favorite bc it’s so hard to see on paper. I will still use it though for my journaling, but it won’t be my main color. The black one appears to be more charcoal gray vs a true black. The green is darker than expected even tho it seems like it’d be lime green. I’m glad it’s darker though! Blueberry pie isn’t as dark as it appears. More of a silvery blue. The others are pretty spot-on when it comes to color. The shimmer does show up, but it’d not obnoxious. More of like a sheen vs true glitter/metallic. I don’t like extreme metallic or glitter though since I am a leftie and it gets all over my hands lol. I think these are great pens for the value and I got them bc of the smell. I love scented pens. I just bought the sugar skull ones too and they smell just like these. Just in case you guys were thinking of buying that set too! I’ll have to make a separate review on those, but they just came in the mail today so I need to test those first. :) I hope you all found this review helpful!

These pens are great! The reason why I purchased it 3x. The scents are wonderful. Smooth writing, and no drying time needed coz it's not even a gel pen which I like. As you can see in the photos it doesn't bleed. Very comfortable to use. And the writing is clear. Tri colors in 1 pen, red, blue and black obviously. In all fairness the ink last a little while with all my long notes I'm impressed, but ofcourse I would love to last it longer. I'm not even sure if there's a refill for this, that will be awesome if there is! so I will not feel guilty throwing them away when ink is finish coz it's a waste and plus the pen itself is cute. For the price? I guess It's not bad $7.99 for 4 pens. I found same exact one at tjmaxx for $4.99 but the problem is it's not always there. Very rare. Just got lucky i found one there(hopefully more finds there;-)) but for the convenience itself I would rather buy it here on amazon. I will definitely recommend these cute scented pens.

I have turned one of these pens into my daily use pen at my work desk. I love the glittery shimmer and I admit, I like to take a sniff from time to time.

The ink is very black and dark. Nice smooth writing as well.
