Works great, I've helped my wife thin her hair a couple of times now using it.

These were a nice surprise gift for my beautition friend.

Excellent sharpness to the teeth. Easily adjusted.

This may just be because they need sharpened (which shouldn’t be necessary out if the box), but they only really seem to work with Spaniels, Aussies, GSDs, Goldens, etc… the more coarse coat typed. Will not work at all with doodle coats.

I was able to achieve what I wanted with these texturizing scissors. Having an area of my hair that grows in thicker than other ares these scissors keep it even. Takes some getting use to in handling, I have small hands. I tried using thinning shears awhile back, did not like them as the blades are closer together and pulled my hair.

*update* I bought these in Jan 2023. It is now Dec 2023 and I love these! Fine haired lady here... And I I think they're great. Purchased these for DIY haircuts. All I could find were thinning shears. Texturing shears were recommended on a youtube video. I have fine hair and was a little worried. I love them. Sharp enough and enjoyed them more than the straight shears I have from a different company.

I recently bought several brands of thinning shears from Amazon, but I'm not satisfied with the quality of this set. I don't recommend it.

I've started cutting my own hair about 5 or so years ago. Up until now I've only been using a cheap $6 pair of scissors to cut my hair. Lately those cheap scissors have been snagging on my hair a lot. They've also become quite dull overtime, so I figured it was about time to invest in an actual quality pair of hair cutting scissors. I've acquired the skillset for cutting over the 5 years so I was excited to try out a more professional quality pair of scissors. Man was this a good investment! I couldn't be happier! The scissors have a very satisfying heftiness to them. They fit your fingers perfectly, and they cut like butter! Seriously though....they cut extremely well, so be careful when handling them. They will glide through and snip away hair with ease. These are the perfect pair of scissors for anyone who likes to cut their own hair at home. Fully recommended! (Also they like even cooler in person than in the photos!)
