Installation and setup was easy except for a problem updating the firmware which failed three times. Only a device restart resolved it - option in the app - but two power cycles before this didn’t help for some reason. Once that issue was resolved set-up was a breeze. Video quality is clear with high definition and notifications are near instantaneous. There is a slight lag in the video streaming by around 3 seconds but it’s no deal breaker, me and the missus tested it with a conversation through the door bell and her phone and it worked fine. The build quality of the door bell is high too. The doorbell is also linked to my Alexa Dots and Shows around the house acting as house wide doorbell chimes, in addition to the chime supplied with Eufy doorbell. There is a slight 2 second delay for bell chimes sounding on Alexa devices but again not so delayed to make it useless. The only downside is video streaming from the doorbell to an Echo Show - there is a good 30 second lag/delay between an action in front of the camera and seeing it on the Echo Show screen, And it buffers and disconnects a lot from the Echo Show when streaming video. So I won’t be using this for watching the video feed over Alexa unfortunately. All in all though it’s a cracking thing and works really well. The app is professional and full of features and configuration settings to allow you to choose motion detection zones, video quality for streaming and recording etc etc. Oh and it has 4GB of internal storage for video storage which is more than I expected. Very impressed and got it on Amazon Prime day with £50 off.Update 20/11/20The Eufy doorbell is still performing well after a few weeks. I thought I’d update this review as the video feed to an Echo Show device seems much improved. The delay now, for me at least, is only 5 seconds. The feed does end after a few minutes but that appears to be by design.

Wanted a wired, stand alone doorbell. Very pleased.App works nicely, setup was easy. Even the drilling/ wiring was straight forward.Had it a couple of weeks and no issues. Not sure how long before the internal memory is full and it starts deleting the oldest, but it's also easy to send video over other apps, messenger and WhatsApp for example, so that isn't an issue if you want to keep anything. Picture is clear day and night, it also grabs a best face pic you can enlarge easily if need be.Got it for £65 in the sale, could not be happier.

Cut to the chase, replaced my 11 year old Friedland doorbell/chime with this. Went for wired option. Connected up to the existing 12volt supply from the Friedland door chime and although it worked, it wasn't stable and obviously needs a bit more power! Purchased a protek 24 volt transformer, which i swapped out a Hager 12 v transformer unit on my fuse board(same width etc) and popped in the protek unit and set it at 16 volts. Then simply disconnected the input/ouput wires of the existing door chime unit , connecting the cables together therefore bypassing the chime unit, but left the chime unit on the wall as there was no need to remove it as although now not operating, meant that i didn't have to make good ,if i had taken it off the wall. doorbell functions great now at the 16 volts and is rock steady with connection etc. Nicely constructed doorbell and the chime unit is loud. Volumes can be set on the chime unit and the doorbell unit which can play prerecorded messages. Best of all is that no cloud storage subscription required as data stored internally the doorbell . My first video doorbell, lots on the market to choose from and i am no expert, but does what i need it to do.

Installation with existing chime transformerI struggled to find this info so decided to give it a go. Hope this helps someone else in a similar situation - I have a Friedland Type 4 chime that is rated 8-16V. I was not sure if this will be enough to power the doorbell which is advertised to require 16-24. I wasn't sure if the full range was required or just for the existing transformer to sit somewhere within that range. Turns out it was the latter. I bypassed the F and T terminals in the chime first (see photo). I was then able to wire in the camera where the doorbell push button was and it powered on. It did a diagnostic check and confirmed the existing voltage was enough for it to work. All in all, it turned out to be a lot simpler than I thought. As long as you are happy doing some DIY you can install this pretty easily.ReviewI moved from a Nest Hello wired camera. This is a big improvement in terms of image quality. The only thing I am slightly concerned about is during dusk when there isnt quite enough light for the IR LEDs to come on it produces a dark image where its hard to make out faces. Nest seems to get around this somehow (likely increasing exposure in post processing).The eufy security app is much better than nest, the cameras load quicker and the clips are much easier to navigate. You also get many more settings to control what kind of notifications you get, if clicking on notification should take you to live view vs the clip of the motion that triggered the alert etc. And finally the pre recorded massages are a good touch. I have had many instances of trying to talk to someone at the door only to be let down by poor 4G connection on my phone. This means I can just press a button and it will play a pre recorded message.

I was attracted to this because of the absence of subscription fees. There are positives with the ease of setting it up and the physical robustness. I had it for 9 months and it has been a massive disappointment. It is reliable, but at missing events that are occurring in front of it. Even with the sensitivity settings on their highest, it fails to activate when I've parked my car on the drive, not every time but sporadically. I know the postman has been but when I check the log there is no recording of him. Recently I had no events recorded for two days yet on the highest setting, it detects people from across the road. Quite simply, I can't trust this device and so I had to get rid.

Erg makkelijk te installeren en aan te sluiten. Product en app werken heel erg goed. De gong had iets harder gemogen wat mij betreft.

Habe die kabelgebundene Variante, da ich keinen Akku wollte. 2k Bild ist einfach super. Ton passt bei der Fernkommunikation ist gut. Nachtsicht gut. Einbindung ins WLAN kinderleicht. Die Einstellmöglichkeiten für die Erfassungsbereiche sind top. Großer Pluspunkt ist auch die Tatsache, dass kein Cloud-Abo notwendig ist. Zum Zeitpunkt der Rezension habe ich meine eigene Klingel bereits knapp 2 Jahre in Betrieb und deshalb aktuell nochmal eine für ein Familienmitglied bestellt. Kunden werben Kunden :-)

Super sonnette, fonctionne super bien , application smartphone ,complète et fonctionnelle, multiples réglages , stockage interne de 4 Go ,pas besoin de payer un abonnement pour le stockage , image de qualité , du jamais vu sur ce genre de matériel ( Somfy , Aiphone ) , son correct.Le seul point négatif est qu’il y a une certaine latence entre le moment où quelqu’un sonne et le moment où l’on reçoit la notification sur le portable , de ce fait si quelqu’un est impatient ,on peut le manquer à l’appel.L’autre point négatif mais qui n’a rien à voir, à la qualité du matériel est qu’en Europe, pour l’instant ,on ne peut pas rajouter de boitier de sonnette car non disponible à la vente en Europe sur ce modèle alors qu’aux US , oui .

Fácil de montar,detecção funciona muito bem, qualidade de imagem de dia e de noite muito boa comparada com outras marcas pelo mesmo preço, recomendo

Dopo un paio di giorni di test posso fare le mie valutazioni.- Iniziamo dal contenuto della confezione: videocitofono, chime e adattatore per il montaggio angolato. Ma soprattutto (cosa che non mi era chiara) è presente l'alimentatore del videocitofono.Era l'unica cosa che mi rendeva perplesso, in quanto nella descrizione è indicato "richiede cavi dei citofoni esistenti, 16-24 V CA, 30 VA o superiore". Allora erano cominciati i miei dubbi sui fili preesistenti del mio appartamento: sarebbero stati sufficienti per alimentarlo? Probabilmente sì, ma problema risolto in ogni caso perchè è presente il suo specifico alimentatore, con spine internazionali, inclusa l'italiana.Il chime ha anch'esso la spina italiana tra le altre e funziona alla grande, ma a me non server perchè integrando la skill in Alexa, quando qualcuno suona il campanello, mi squillano tutti gli Echo Dot che ho scelto di collegare.- Utilizzo: l'app è fatta bene ed è intuitiva. Le notifiche sono immediate. Il videocitofono (che nel mio caso sarà utilizzato al posto del campanello posto sul pianerottolo) ha una qualità altissima, anche di notte. Ha l'opzione per correggere l'effetto fisheye (avete presente la telecamera che fa effetto spioncino, tutto deformato in modo sferico). Sotto una certa distanza fisica sul videocitofono si illlumina un led azzurro ad anello, che a mio parere fa anche da deterrente per i malintenzionati... insomma avvisa che si è sotto controllo.Le impostazioni di rilevamento automatico sono eccezionali, grazie al software che distingue sagome e volti, riconoscendo se si tratta di persone vicine o lontane, di fronte o di spalle, animali, auto. Io ho abbassato il livello perchè installandolo su pianerottolo, non voglio una notifica per ogni movimento, ma solo per persone vicine e che sono con il viso verso la mia porta di casa.P.s.: alla prima accensione il software mi segnalava un aggiornamento firmware disponibile, che ne avrebbe migliorato le prestazioni. Come ho già letto in altre recensioni, a mano non andava, ma il dispositivo di notte si è poi aggiornato da solo, quindi non fateci caso, si risolve da sè.
