Great daily
Watch is a great size for smaller wrists. Because of the all black design this isn’t super easy to read in low light situations and the glow in the dark hands aren’t half as bright as standard white hands. That being said, it’s a Seiko and it is keeping time well. The description Amazon gives on the watch is wrong. It’s states the watch band is 22mm, it’s actually 20mm.Overall a nice looking watch.

Excellent sports watch!
This watch is my second Seiko and I foresee myself buying more of them. Being a mostly Swiss watch collector, I'm loving the Japanese quality of the Seikos! This particular watch is for the active person. I've read that most people dislike the band, but I'm going to assume they are new to the watch world. The band that comes with this watch is a nylon NATO strap. This is a military type band that's used for anyone that would take their watch outdoors for a period of time. NATO bands are designed to be informal and activewear. Although, I do think a nice black leather strap would also look just as appealing.A couple of complaints: The lume on the dial is great for about a minute, then it completely disappears. Another problem is that I wish the crown was a screw-down instead of push/pull. The watch has a water resistant rating of 100m, but I wouldn't submerge any watch that did not utilize a screw-down crown. One thing about the particular watch I received is that the days of the week are not the typical Kanji day wheel, but rather Latin (or Roman?) which I've never seen. My wrist is 7 inches and for a 40mm dial, it looks small compared to my other watches in this size.

Good classy watch, but the lume is a little lack luster
I figure it's probably a design choice to not have a good lume since it's supposed to be a "stealth watch", but it's a pain trying to see time in low light condition. Otherwise, everything else is great, accuracy is on par with the affordable mechanical watches, nice profile. Overall 4/5

Great looking black out edc look
I didn't think of it when I bought it. I love the look, but its near impossible to see in low light. There is no illum on it and its not even reflective. So its really just for showing off with a short sleeve shirt.

Not for time keeping
The watch does not keep time very well. I have to reset the time every couple of days. The face cannot be read in low light. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.

This could have been a great watch with minor changes
I purchase watches that look good, run well and I can buy at the right price, so if I ever do sell one, I won’t lose much. When I saw Amazon had the Seiko Sport 5 watch substantially discounted on their warehouse site, I took a second look at ir and read the reviews. The Seiko Sport 5 series was an experiment by Seiko to produce a high quality watch, but keep the manufacturing costs low by assembling theSport series themselves. This was a great idea, and the result was an incredibly accurate and quality watch at a reasonable price. My dissatisfaction is the same as other reviews that site the watch face is nearly impossible to read, even in daylight, and a mid level Timex has a brighter and longer lasting lume, and makes reading this watch impossible to see at night in any light source.Pros: This is a very high quality Seiko watch, that has an easily replaceable NATO band, and not accounting for the the substantial markdown on Warehouse, is selling everywhere for around the MSRP price and is a great price point for a watch of this quality.Cons: Seiko needed to make the numbers white instead of grey or used quality Lume on the hands and numbers, as it is unreadable at night without using your iPhone light, and then why you would just look at your iPhone? Also, this is being marketed as a sports watch; and not a stealth watch, and other watches in the Sport 5 series are easier to read. I also would have NOT included a day/date in this watch, since it is also impossible to read, and unlike my Eco Drive citizen watches that I can just leave out to charge and can pick up, put on and just go. This is a self winding watch, and although I can wind it and go, if I am not in love with the watch, I won’t spend the time it takes to set the day/ date and will chose another watch. I like that the watch was not designed around a custom watch band that can only be ordered from a Seiko dealer. You will know within the first 20sec of seeing this watch in person if it is the watch for you. Looking at the picture of the watch in the listing I had hoped the face of the watch was as easily readable as it appeared. Unfortunately it is like seeing a Whooper in person after looking at the picture on the Burger King menu menu and realizing nothing in real life looks as good as in the picture. Even though it was a killer deal on the watch, it is like buying clothes that are substantially marked down, it is not worth whatever you paid if you don’t wear it. I will pay full price for a watch if it is something that I like and will wear. Amazon makes it very easy to try and buy, and you need to see this watch before you buy.

Great watch!
I've had the watch for a month or so. Holds time well; I think the power reserve is a little over 24 hours? I haven't noticed it losing time throughout the day. I work in an emergency room and the glass and metal have not scratched or cracked. The band does start to stretch over time, so that is a bit disappointing. It is a bit difficult to read as you need the light to reflect to see the hand markers.

Great watch, band width IS NOT AS ADVERTISED!
The stated band width for this timepiece in the description is 22mm. I purchased a band based on this information; this is not the correct size. This watch takes a 20mm band! Don’t be fooled like I was!! Other than that, fantastic piece especially when on sale for $179.
