YIROCK K-Musculo Red Cheese Wax, 1 Pound

After a bit of experience with equipment and technique I was able to successfully wax cheese. I bought a thrift store double boiler insert to use in one of my pots and bought a natural bristle pastry brush from Walmart. I used a flexible plastic cutting mat, a bamboo turner, and rubber gloves from my kitchen. I made sure to keep the cheese cool and dry and cutting away any portions that looked greasy. Also watched a video of someone doing this was a help along with the directions that came with the wax. I will be storing the waxed cheese in a cool area and check on it for a few months before I wax any other cheese to make sure I did it right.

Thanks! I used this for a student project and it worked out well. We had pinholes in the finished product but we believe it was our technique, not the wax.
