I can't say enough about this statue for craftsmanship. It looks like real stone, yet it is transportable. It looks great on my patio and so realistic. That's the second Easter Island head that I purchased. I had people comment on them all with compliments. Worth the price.

This review is for the Toscano Easter Island DESKTOP model and not the GARDEN model. NOTE: This item is not stone. It is made of resin.My handsome moai looks very distinguished as he keeps me company at my desk. It nicely captures the striking design of the real life statues found on Easter Island.The texture feels good with an appropriate stone-like appearance. The weight is light but it has a satisfying bit of heft to it. I find the size to be just right: substantial enough to stand-out but small enough to easily fit on a regular sized desk or shelf without taking up much real estate.This is as close to an actual hand-carved stone replica as I'd expect to find and the price I paid seems appropriate. It should be a nice addition to a reading room/room with books or any room with a suitable décor or collection of interesting items.I absolutely recommend it for a fan of Rapa Nui's fascinating statues and any armchair archaeologist. It would make a great gift for someone interested in such things or fan of television "archaeology" programs. I've even had a few friends become interested in Easter Island after seeing this item.

If you are familiar with Rapa Nui this is the coolest thing you could ever buy. I think it is the coolest decoration addition to your home, I would never put it outside in the weather it is just gonna get destroyed overtime like anything. But if you keep it in your house you have a nice room for it it is such a quality piece of decoration. I have two more I exactly like this. The way it is pack is in a wood crate wrapped in plastic with padding on a wood pallet, I mean this thing is packed like the ark of the covenant. It is incredible I love it so much. I have one in the loft which is by my Theater and I have this one also. I am not going to get more but I tell you the two that I have I am utterly in love with them. They get so much compliments people want pictures taken next to them when they come to visit. It is amazing to me how a lot of people don’t know about my statues or the history of Easter island but it is a very interesting place. This represents that. Is it tall is a big yeah but I moved it by myself so it was not crazy hard and I am not strong. My wife was very understanding and she trusted me and she loves it she loves the decoration. You could put it outside he could handle the rain but overtime I think you’re just gonna see wear and tear and why I pay this much money for something so cool that you can fall in love with just to have it rot. It’s not solid concrete is hollow on the inside but it does have substantial weight. If you were even looking at this statue and you had the funds to make payments or however to get it you would not regret it at all just be careful of the size it’s like 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep. There’s a little metal hooks on the bottom in the back if you wanted to secure it down safely somewhere. This is by far my favorite purchase on Amazon ever !

It's not concrete, and doesn't look like concrete from closer than 10 feet away, but it's close enough for the price. It's prone to blow over in a strong win with no real way to secure it or weigh it down, so it's kind of hidden away between some taller things that will block the wind.It's pretty tall and seems well-made enough for a resin-cast statue, and I do like the way it looks in the garden bed. Lots cheaper than concrete and easier to keep clean as well.

These look like Moai replicas. I have lined up a few on a corner of pool decking and they always draw a smile and conversation. They are lightweight and sturdy. I will bring them in for the winter because I want them to stay nice. They look very authentic!
