Genuine Hyundai Oil Pan Drain Plug Gasket, 21513-23001, Pack of 5

I had taken my car to jiffy lube, and they completely destroyed the washer and forced/warped it on the drain plug. Due to this my oil was leaking, even torqued to the manufacturers recommendation. I got these washers, got a new drain plug also since the other washer and drain plug were ruined, installed them, and the leaking stopped completely. Been using my car with these washers and no spills, fits perfectly. Highly recommend.

I'm sure I can get something similar at the local hardware for less money, but there's something about changing oil that I want to use the right part for the job. If the gasket doesn't seal right, I'll be on the side of the road in the middle of the rain because my vehicle's engine seized up from an oil leak. I'm changing these out at every oil change and have not had any issues. I wish I could say that about the oil change I had the dealership do for me and found out later I was a quart low on oil. Never again; oil changes are easy and that little gasket is worth the cost.

I changed my wife's oil as well as my own and I can verify these washers fit on both of our cars.

Past experience is quite positive. Packaging is tiny and fragile, easily lost or broken. A good deal if you have the space to change your own oil, but most reputable places keep their own stock and charge you. Why would anyone go to an change place that doesn't?

Needed drain plugs for my wife's 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug In, these are OEM, shipped quick and I didn't have to search very hard to find them. Now I have spares for other oil changes.

Product package had a Hyundai label, but there was an obvious razor cut in the package with tape over it. Seems very suspicious!
