TheraPAQ Reusable Ice Pack - 14x6 Hot/Cold Gel for Shoulder, Knee, Back, Ankle Relief

This is the second tine I have bought this reusable ice pack. It's durable and as described. It wraps around my shoulder, my knee, and anywhere I need it because it's very flexible. The velcro works great. Highly recommend it.

I recently broke my ankle and the swelling has been in different "odd" places where putting a cold compress just doesn't work. I have been going to physical therapy and they used this compress iced. It wraps around my ankle and has a velcro strap which keeps it in place. It stays cold for over an hour and re-freezes pretty quickly. My only "Ahem"....about this product.....it's SUPER, SUPER cold when you take it out of the freezer - I have had to sew my own little cloth holder to put this compress into so I don't ice burn my skin. I cheated and just used an old pillow cloth. If this had a cloth attachment - this thing would be INCREDIBLE. It's comprised of three different sections so it bends nicely. Really - if you do sports or have an injury that demands icing - you can't go wrong with choosing this item. Worth the money.

This is a nice quality wrap. Great for knees and larger body parts, shoulders, back, hip, etc... I bought it for my elbow and it isn't perfect for that... Pros: Gets REALLY, REALLY cold. Generous size. Easy to wrap around everything but your own arms. Cons: Very difficult to wrap around your own elbow. Hard to get it tight and to line up the right sides of the velcro. Much easier to have someone else do it. I even tried pressing in up against the wall for a third hand but it just didn't work well. So I had someone help me adjust it to my elbow and I just slipped in on and off until I had to use for my back. Now I can't get a good fit on the elbow again. Other than that this is a very good product and I highly recommend it.

This wrap I use for when I feel a migraine headache coming on. It works perfectly & after a good 20 minutes it gives me relief from the pain. It wraps wonderfully around my head with a velcro wrap so it’s adjustable. It comes with 2 ice gel packs. One stays cold for a good 20 minutes fresh from the freezer. The pack slides into the wrap & velcro shuts. My took a picture to show you what it looks like around my head. It’s designed so it’s extremely easy to use. I keep the wrap in the freezer as well so it’s cold & ready for the ice pack when I need it. The ice packs are flat & do not take up much space in my freezer. This is well worth what I paid. I highly recommend if you suffer from migraines!

Great for those with low back pain, can strap on and be able to get up if need be and not lose your ice pack. My husband uses it for his low back so much we got an extra one for him to take to work. It’s also nice to use to wrap around a knee or even upper shoulder you can wrap around kind of like a side bag if that makes sense…could also wrap around an arm or ankle as well.

I have knee stiffness and swelling (diagnosed by my doctor as arthritis - though I'm not sure about that, and plan to see a specialist). Ordered this as a way to ice my knee after exercise. I like that I can wrap it around the knee and then fasten the strap to keep it in place. Before this I was using an Ace knee support and placing small ice packs inside. That worked okay, but this is much easier to use. It is well made and holds the chill for quite awhile. I've had it for a couple of months, but didn't use it for a few weeks while I was traveling; will update this review as I use it more.

I purchased this hot/cold pad to aid with shoulder issues I’ve been having (rotator cuff tear). I bought it for two reasons: 1) the fact that it can be used for hot or cold (microwave/freezer), and 2) it has a hook-and-loop strap, which theoretically would make it possible to strap it onto my shoulder/arm when it’s in use. Unfortunately, the strap is pretty much worthless. No matter how much wrangling I try, I cannot get it to “catch” in the place where I need it. I think it’s because the actual hook-and-loop portion of the strap, which is only on the ends, is too far out to stick to each other. If I was using this on something with my diameter, like my leg or back, it would probably be fine. But for arms/shoulder, it just doesn’t work. If you need to use this for your arm/shoulder/wrist, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. For other applications, this should work fine.

The cover is smooth-no sharp edges and this product gets REALLY cold. It fits around the ankle of a 268lb offensive lineman easily. Make sure you put a cloth or towel between the pack and skin. Works great over elastic bandages/wraps. When frozen it will still bend and confirm to your anatomy.

Cumple su funcion perfectamente, es comoda, de momento no le pongo ninguna pega. Le bajo dos estrellas, porque cuando lo puse a calentar, se quemo una esquina y apenas estuvo calentando y escuche como se quemaba y lo saqué, rápido.. Vale para enfriar simplemente, una pena. Me ha durado poco.. Vuelvo a escribir. Tras el problema que tuve, simplemente lo comenté al vendedor y sin problemas me han mandado otra totalmente nueva, es de agradecer.

This is really good, does what it says on the tin. Great that it's reusable and env friendly and much more comfortable using gel than using ice. Has benefited the kids, my neighbours, myself and my tenants when injured or sore.

It is very versatile. I used it on my knees and upper thigh. The coldness in the pack lasted quite long. The velcro is strong enough to hold the weight of the ice pack without slipping downwards. Good product.
