Q: what PSI to achieve 4800 bpm ?

Don’t know for sure….but most air tools require 90 PSI…. But the volume at that pressure is what is required to sustain 4800 BPM for expended amounts of time. Once again… I’m nit exactly sure but I think this tool will require about 10 CFM. A nail gun compressor will develop 90 PSI…. But will NOT run this tool,

Q: Can you replace the needles?

Yes. I would recommend that you buy a set of replacement needles along with the tool, particularly if it will receive frequent use. The needles are durable but they can snap at the flared portion which holds the needle in the disc. I have snapped a few, but that was mostly in cases where I was using the needle gun in a tight corner and at an angle.

Q: Does it spray oil on the surface you're cleaning like the other needle scalers I've used?

Only if you put excessive oil in the machine.....Oil it properly and you're good to go! ! ! The needle scaler does a GREAT job at removing rust and paint while preparing the surface for new paint. We used our's to clean a couple of Marine transmissions and related engine parts. Great tool.....no regrets! ! !

Q: Can it use 105-115 psi?

Hello, Recommended to use at 90 to100 psi range max. Never tried running 100 psi or higher, but providing my opinion that it exceeds the design and safety limits for normal operating pressure.
