I ordered this box of chocolate covered orange peels for my mom as a present for Mother's Day, and she went crazy over them. When I faced-timed her she showed me the size of the box and it was pretty large; also it came with one of those things that keep it cold and she put it in the freezer to use it later in case someone got hurt and needed a cold ice pack! Still the chocolate covered orange peels were so delicious that I had to order some for myself. It didn't disappoint.

Candies were very dry and stale.Expense for OLD CHOCOLATES with no orange flavors.

Absolutely love this brand. The price is high, though. Finally found a recipe and did some experimenting that worked out reasonably well, but when I got sick and wasn't up to cooking it, went back and re-bought this brand. And it was STILL brilliant. So even though I'll make it more often, I can't make myself give up the occasional purchase of this beautifully balanced treat.

I was disappointed with the quality of the shipment. If you worked with Chocolate, you know that the temperature of processing is critical to the success. Unfortunately, this chocolate was not processed properly and came dried out with Coco powder the surface. And lots had flaked off leaving dried out orange.I was able to improve the texture and appearance by tempering the chocolate a bit. It’s a simple process of putting pieces on parchment paper and microwaving for 10 seconds, which allows the surface to melt. I found 10 seconds warmed the chocolate. After letting it rest a bit I found another five or 10 seconds was enough to melt the chocolate, and then let it re-crystallize for a few hours.

Appearance is as shown. I got this as a gift for my mom and she is picky when it comes to candy. She stated it was perfect exactly how she loves them. The orange is juicy and the dark chocolate was delicious. This is the second time I ordered this for her and I will order again and again. She said the packaging was great. Fresh and delicious. Due to weather getting hotter she noticed it was sealed perfectly with a cold pack. The first time I ordered it was winter so no ice pack was needed. Those little details mean a lot to her. The price and quality are great.

Love orange chocolate. These are large pieces of dark chocolate around reall orange peel no gell.Chocolate is good, a bit stiff and crumbly but taste is good. I like these but 4 stars is appropriate
