I bought this kit to re-grip 8 clubs. Three of my grips were destroyed in the process. No matter how much solvent I used the grips would get stuck halfway and when applied more force the grips would give way and break apart.. I was using Winn Excel Soft grips is that helps anyone. The grips I was able to get on I pushed the grip down the shaft with every bit of strength I had in me. This should not happen. I have watched tons of videos on this, its not rocket science so I am not sure what went wrong but this resulted in me needing to go back to the store to purchase 3 additional grips to replace the ones that were destroyed. As a result I no longer have any confidence in this solvent or tape so I will be purchasing solvent and tape at Golfsmith. I DO NOT suggest buying this product.

My daughter recently became interested in golf and I resurrected a Ping Pal putter from the 80’s. The grip was horribly cracked. Not wanting to spend more on regripping than the putter was worth, I ordered this kit. The whole process took 10 minutes and went together slick as can be. I didn’t even use a vise just plenty of their spray to lube things up well. Adhesion seems fine. So far so good.

Never changed my golf club grips before. The challenge is getting the old grips and tape off (I used a box cutter and sand paper). After that, this adhesive tape application and insertion into new grips was easy and fun. Save yourself lots of $!

Prompt delivery and good quality. Comes with written instructions but search youtube for clear install steps. Small bottle of solution can be used sparingly for multiple sets. Easiest when using a bench vise. Hardest step is removal of old grip tape - recommend using googone and a plastic scraper.

Excellent kit.Did 3 clubs, no issues with solvent or grip vise device.Use in ventilated area, as solvent may annoy some with sensitive noses.Holds well, no issues with grip tape.Note: you will need a vise and bench.

This kit was great. I liked the precut adhesion grips. It made it really easy to lineup the adhesion strips where they needed to go. It was really easy to install my new golf grips with this kit.

Not a fan of the tape/wraps, but they did work. Spray works as advertised. Grip isn’t necessary, but if you want to use a vise it works.

Don't think the tape was thick enough. I've replace most of my clubs a few times and never had this problem. After this purchase I went to the local golf shop and paid to have them replaced. Shouldn't even get 1 star.

Not used as had enough of old product to do the job. I can say if this is as good as the old a good product. Had to reduce to 3 stars this time. Two of the tapes only had glue 2/3rds of the tape. Did no matter as only doing 9 clubs. Just hope after leaving overnight everything has stuck.

Wanted to shorten some clubs and regrip them. The process was simple and easy to execute and the results were first class. I'd highly recommend this kit.

The kit consists of 13 strips of tape, a vice protector and solvent. All are good quality and do their job. Tape strips are more than long enough. Solvent is a spray but I just took the top off and poured it into the new grip which is easier. Very easy to use. One thing of note, there is no knife to remove the old grip from the club. All in all a good kit for the price. would buy again.

Really easy to use as it's my first time re gripping my clubs, plenty of grip solvent as well. The tape itself is strong, the only downside is that it's 2mm short on the width so it doesn't wrap around the shaft fully but it should be fine.

if you also have a desktop vice then this little pack makes it a doddle to change your golf grips.
