Let me tell you... I have been through it this week with my laptop. It has decided to not connect to my wifi... it connects to other wifi but not mine. Even though all of my other devices connects just fine to my wifi. I mainly use my laptop to stream shows which displays on my tv. So I have been in a mood since I had to watch shows on my tablet. Until I found THIS device... it mirrors my tablet to my tv beautifully and the set up... WOW super easy and let me tell you I am not IT blessed and I got this connected within 2 minutes. Its absolutely wonderful and deserves 10 stars!! I can watch my shows on my big screen now so happy!! Such a great price too!

Plugging this unit into your hdmi socket and a usb port (for power) is easy. While the difficulty in setting up this device is a fact, it's really only a minor issue. The real problem is that it doesn't stay connected continuously. It randomly cuts out abruptly making the audio and video appear to stutter. After 5 to 10 minutes it simply loses all connection and the only option is to go through the process of reconnection. Combine that with the fact that the app has third party advertising, yes, you read that correctly, advertising. So, while you are trying to reconnect, ads are appearing, getting in the way of your efforts. Additionally the cast picture quality is bad, practically unwatchable. I strongly advise not buying this item.

Sometimes it won't read, and other times the connection is very spotty.

No mater how many times I installed apps or manipulated this gadget it still never connected to my brand new tv and brand new computer. Total garbage when it does not work, so I now have a wireless keyboard and mouse and went old school and just connected a HDMI cable directly and now it works fine. I can play my games on the big screen and did not have to waste space on my HD to store app software.

It’s doing what I bought it to do. Took a minute to get it set up. The setup isn’t super smooth. But once set up it stays set up unlike some other products that seem to need to be RE setup frequently.

Does not work! The app us just a virus scam trying to steal your personal & financial information. The gadget doesn't work at all. Can do nothing with it but us it as an ornament having from the back if my TV. Don't buy this if you don't want to waste your money and a possibility of getting your information stolen.

This anycast is perfect. this is a must have for everyone. It’s easy to use. I like that you can use the WiFi it comes with or you can set up your own local WiFi to not use up all your data. You just have to go to website on your phone, after you plug it in. Once you plug it in all the information is on one page. Including password. It’s So easy to set up,I’ve been doing everything on my phone with this even call of duty mobile game. Its like my phone is a controller with games and movies. The anycast still works even if my phone is in another room. I’m definitely ordering more for every room in my house. Thank you and it arrive super early.

I bought this to use with Miracast display mirroring on Android when I'm traveling and WiFi isn't available. It was not at all straightforward to set up. I downloaded the EZMira app as instructed, but that only made things more complex, and bombarded me with ads. It turned out that I needed to turn on an "enable wireless display" option buried 4 levels deep in Android settings to make it work, which EZMira did not even begin to inform me of nor assist me with. Once I finally got it connected, audio was choppy, video lagged by several seconds, and apps with protected content like Netflix wouldn't display at all. And then the connection dropped. It may work okay for AirPlay on iOS -- I didn't test it -- but this was an utter fail for Miracast, or for any scenario without reliable home WiFi with its own Internet connection. So back to Amazon it goes.
