Princeton Art & Brush P9143 Real Value Brush Set, Synthetic Gold Taklon, Round 2 and 4, Liner 2/0, Shader 2 and 6

I’m pretty hard on my brushes, I use watercolor, acrylic and gouache. I need something that can stand up to that while not breaking the bank. These brushes do it all. They’re springy, and light. They wash well with no shedding. I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying more in the future.

I don't really understand how these brushes can be so good for just under £12. Mind you I have only used them once, so they might still fall apart. But buying a set of 7 brushes for this price...my expectations were a LOT lower than what they are turning out to be...very pleasantly surprised!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great set for watercolour beginners like me. Since I am not keen yet to buy the expensive ones, e.g. Princeton’s higher end brushes like the Neptune or Heritage line, this is really a good set to start with considering the price point. I think once I master my strokes and techniques, I will consider buying the higher end ones. 😊The only challenge with this brush is the soft hair - if you are used to snappy type of brush you might find it a bit challenging to control certain brush strokes.
