What a fun thing! I bought the Voilamart 1000-Watt rear wheel motor to convert my old GT mountain bike into an Ebike.As far as I could tell, the kit came with everything. The kit is fairly straightforward to assemble, though some important parts are missing- I had to purchase a torque arm separately. I also needed to purchase clips for wire management as I did not want to use zip ties on the parts that need to be removed for maintenance/repair (back wheel mostly in case I get a flat tire lol) I also think it’d be a huge plus if a disc brake conversion was included- this was another upgrade I purchased as I read rim brakes may not be sufficient to handle the speeds Ebikes are capable of. The bag that houses the computer is a little small to accommodate the computer and the wire loom, but that can be remedied by purchasing a larger bag.Aside from the minor things mentioned above, the install/assembly was very easy. My old tire and puncture resistant tube fit the rim without a problem, and everything went into place without any modifications to the (old!) existing parts on my bike. Connecting everything was very easy as the wires are all color coded and easy to plug in. Routing the wire loom was tricky as there’s a lot of extra wire…Once everything was installed… The first ride was awesome! On the lowest power setting, I was able to get to 27mph with little effort. The pedal assist function was pretty consistent at 20mph with moderate pedaling on a mostly flat street. I plan to enjoy this bike for a long time! Thanks for a great product!

Got the rear wheel kit for my bike. Was supposed to take a few weeks but the wheel came two weeks early and the battery came a week after that. Neither took the three weeks that was estimated. Nice job on that. Putting it together even with the lack luster instructions was easy enough. I had a few questions but you tube was a big help. It took maybe two hours to have it ready for power. Test ride was fun. With the limiter on I got up to 22mph with it off I (190#) hit 36mph. My buddy (240#) rode it and said he had it hit 38. It's been in the woods on hunting trips since then on some pretty right trails. Tall wet grass. I was soaked from the waste down bike was soaked and it held up fine. Only had it for a month and in the woods twice but so far it's a great kit. 10mph is about as fast as I got down the trails tho.

Please do not buy this kit! You are being scammed! You can find this exact kit on AliExpress for $100. The quality is horrible. Its been 3 months and the spokes on the wheel are crinkling and popping every time i roll on them! When every I pull the throttle more than 75% the wheel starts violently shaking. Yes I checked everything and after some research I found out that this is a problem with a bad quality motor that will misfire its magnetic fields! Please buy an American brand or if your on a budget don't get upsold by 250%! Oh yeah! And customer support was very unhelpful and rude. I asked them about these problems and they wanted me to essentially end world hunger and back to prove it wasn't me. I really wouldn't recommend this product.

I installed this kit on a Burley tandem bike, since the mid drives are problematic on tandems due to the eccentric bottom bracket/chain tensioner for the synchronized ring gears/pedals.It works pretty well, and was not too difficult an installation. It is definitely not for the beginner. A torque arm is necessary, esp. if you are using an aluminum frame, and you will need some metal working skills.The wheel makes a lot of spoke noise. I have tightened the spokes and continually check them, but they are tight. It doesn't seem to be a problem, except it's annoying and provokes comments from other riders.The kit has almost everything you need to convert your bike, but the controller bag is pretty lame. I bought a new frame bag for mine after the kit bag zipper broke.A torque arm assembly is not included. You need to buy one (or make your own). I bought a torque arm kit, but had to modify it considerably to make it work with my frame. It was still easier than making one.The controller has a 5 level pedal assist system. Fortunately, the PAS has a delay, so when the Stoker mounts and gets situated, the Captain has a moment before the assist starts in and cracks the pedals into the shins.The spread between the 5 levels needs work in the firmware, as it does not make equal jumps. This isn't critical. You will learn to deal. We rarely go above PAS 2, which is sufficient for some gnarly hills.The throttle ( stock twist grip which I replaced with a thumb throttle) is really handy for those iffy stop sign situations where you just need to barrel across without having time to clip in. I didn't like the twist grip b/c it's easy to forget to turn the system off when stopped, pushing the bike, making repairs, etc., and if the throttle gets twisted..... You get it. The thumb throttle keeps that from happening.Throw the tire, tube and rim tape away. I had a flat because of the rim tape. Also, get a puncture resistant tire. Fixing a rear flat is no picnic.I made some mistakes with this conversion. I figured I'd need the maximum wattage motor and a huge battery in order to power the tandem, and to get reasonable mileage. I bought two batteries. We just did two rides, 4 days apart. One was 25 miles, and the other 22, and the battery is at 60%. D'oh! I spent $400 too much on a second battery.This is a good alternative for an electric tandem. You can't beat the price!

The media could not be loaded. It's worth the investment 100%!. Great power,speed, and quiet. As long you install everything properly this will be bring loads of fun. It's almost too fast. As it keeps gaining as you give it throttle. PAS working perfectly as you can adjust it. 48v battery with 1000w rear wheel kit. Only issue I have to upgrade my brakes too disc hydraulic because its a little difficult on these brakes to stop at higher speeds. And they get hot! Casual riding and some pedaling I got 50 miles! And that was with original charge the battery shipped in with! As I used it to condition before I fully charged it.
