I picked up this hot oil treatment mostly on a whim (it was cheap and looked quick). Since I deal with dry ends and dull hair, I was pleasantly surprised that it actually made a difference. After just one use, my hair felt visibly smoother and looked shinier without feeling greasy or weighed down. The tubes are small—which means it won’t last for a full body of hair if you’re doing a major treatment, but for my mid‑length hair it was enough. The “hot oil” part feels more like a warm‑up than a burning effect, which I appreciate (no scary heat sensations). It’s ideal for a quick fix before a night out or when your hair needs a boost. If you’re looking for a full spa‑level mask, this won’t replace that—but for what it is, it’s totally worth it. I’ll buy again.

I I have thick hair that is coarse. I normally use a spray oil after washing then blow dry, flat iron... it's such a process it's tiring. I used to use hot oil treatments often and I forgot about them until recently I just wondered if this stuff was still around. Here it is and I couldn't be happier! I used two small bottles on dry hair, set for about 30min then shampoo and conditioner. All I did after that was blow dry with a wide tooth comb. I didn't have to flat iron it's super soft, pin straight, shiny and smells amazing.

This was a staple back in the day and I have no idea how I could ever have stopped using it. I recently ordered it again and it is a GAME CHANGER. This has been around for so long for a reason. It really works. My hair is lightened, and it has natural curl which I blow out straight - so it tends to get frizzy, with easily damaged ends and it’s difficult to keep sleek. One use of this (letting it sit for about 20 minutes) after my regular shampoo and conditioner and my hair looks AMAZING. It’s silky, healthy and looks like a 180 from before using. I’m going to start doing these treatments once a week to start with and adjust from there. It’s AMAZING. It makes me feel like a fool for spending hundreds of dollars on the lines with multi steps that don’t come close to producing the same results.

I have been using vo5 on and of for years it helps to stop my hair getting brittle and brake and keep my ends soft. I would recommend it to anyone with dry straw like hair.
