The long handle gives me better leverage when I’m pruning. I am able to reach difficult places where normal shears or scissors can’t reach. Also it comes with a leather pouch when you are done pruning.

These things are sharp as heck! They are a bit heavy and you can tell that they’re nice quality. They are a good length to chop branches in hard to reach areas.

Well built, sturdy and sharp; makes easy impressive cuts.The mechanism is tight and a little stiff to open but I'm sure it will loosen up with use.The extra length makes interior stem cuts easier.

Works as described

The media could not be loaded. I order a second set of sheers from this brand, this time for my wife, for her gardening as the smaller size handle fits her better. Based on my first purchase I was excited to get these for her. But this set doesn’t even come close to matching the quality of the first. Bad powder coating, loose already, and a bit mis-shapen. This pair should have been thrown away at the factory.

This is an easy to use, easy to grip and useful scissors / pruner for clipping bonsai or herbs and small flowers in your indoor garden. I would have given this 5 stars, but mine arrived rusted on the blades like it was prior used or was never properly treated with oils after being made. Overall though, it still works fine and a good resharpening of the blades seems to have removed most of the rust. I would recommend this product as long as they check their items for rust before sending out to customers.
