The repetition, and hand strength in winding the toy makes it good developmentally
Is an exact replica of the one my sister had in the 1960’s. The quality, style, detail design is exactly as I remember it. This is only the second time I have found a remake of a toy that was common 50 years ago that has maintained the quality of the originals. Wish that were more often true of toys that are “brought back”. I am surprised the babies still love this toy when they are now regularly exposed to electric moving screens of phones and current electronics. The song repetition is excellent for babies and toddlers. And learning to wind it is good motor strength and flexibility for small hands used to merely pushing buttons or touching screens.

Great toy, no batteries. I had one of these when I was a kid. I bought this for a Christmas gift for my grandchild. Brings back great memories

Toddlers love to sing along with the music.
This was a perfect little compact toddler toy. Many songs and easy for a two year old to wind up. Lightweight and packs well.

Classic toy with amazing appeal.
This classic toy is the same one you may remember when you were a kid. Wind it up and it goes- no batteries, no screen, just music, bright colors, and a nice change from others toys the kids might have. Sturdy and a great value!

that antenae worries me
LOVE that they are bringing back the good old toys! Not too loud, not as heavy as the wood versions were in the old days - The antenae is stiff plastic - a definite hazard to poke out an eye. First thing we did was break it off and file it down. Too bad - I remember playing with the spring antenae on mine when I was a kid - stiff plastic is not an acceptable substitute.

An oldie but a goodie.
Takes me back to 1968! This toy is great.

Traditional toy
Sent this as a gift to my great nephew. His mother sent me a picture of the baby playing with it and it appears to be a hit. Traditional toys are so much better than the annoying junk that's being made now. I've seen this toy in stores and it has the same sweet sound that I remember from the Fischer Price radios my children had in the 90's. Besides the nostalgia of retro toys, they teach children how play quietly and amuse themselves.
