MAXXAIR 00-03810W MaxxFan Dome Plus with 12V Fan and LED Light, 6" Diameter - White

I installed the Maxxair dome into the side wall of my 29ft Four winds motor home. I have an Aims 3000 Watt inverter/charger/transfer switch under the motorhome dining area seat and it needed more ventilation to stop it switching off due to heat. This is my solution. I really wanted a fantastic fan that went in the side wall but this was the best I could find. I used a 6 1/4 inch hole saw which cut the hole like butter. The vent slotted in perfectly and I sealed it as laid out in the instructions . It definitely moves the air. Whether it will be enough for my inverter is stillTo be proved, but that would not be a fan issue. It is surprisingly quiet. Definitely a thumbs up on this one. The only downside is I ordered/paid for the pro version with the LED and received the standard version without the LED. I did not do a return due to time constraints (I needed to get this done before a family holiday). I am not happy that they continue to do this to customers after so many reviews pointing out the problem. It’s a switch and bait operation that’s needs to be addressed. At least do the right thing and provide the LED separately or a refund.

I ordered the model 00-03810W fan with LED light. I received the model 00-03812W fan with no LED light . The box was marked correctly as no LED. I returned that item for credit and ordered again, model 00-03810W fan with LED light. I received a box marked correctly as model 00-03810W with LED light but the fan in the box was model 00-03812W without the LED light. So I returned that one also.I do not know what the problem is with this item, with MAXXAIR or Amazon but I see many reviews that this happens frequently. Fan ordered with light but received fan with no light. Amazon needs to take care of this and remove this item from their website.

This little fan works exactly the way it is supposed to. When I read the reviews I saw a lot of complaints that it did not come with an LED light so when I purchased it I didn't expect it to have one. To my surprise, when my fan was installed it had a great LED light!! That was a bonus and it made me love it even more.

This product claimed that it comes with an LED light. That part wasn't included in what I received, nor was it listed as an external part in the brochure, so I had no idea there was no light until after installation. While the fan works well, it isn't all that quiet. It'll serve its purpose, but it feels like false advertising.

I’m giving a 4 star because it was supposed to have the LED light and mine did not when it came in. We are on a time crunch so no time to wait on another that may or may not have a light. Other than that, it’s a good quality fan and will do its job.

I received the fan, and it did NOT have an LED light in it, so I had to return it.

My old MaxxAire was leaking badly. An excellent replacement for the original. It was harder to remove the old broken one than to do the installation.

I received the fan which is very nice looking. Half way through installing it as a replacement in my camper I had it wired and clicked it on. The fan worked but the LED lights did not.I called Maxxair to see about a warranty replacement for the defective LED ring and was hung up on three times and then got voicemail.Ultimately returned to Amazon, but this is a Maxxair problem.
