This does indeed work for a synology diskstation DS1511+. It is an acceptable substitute for the Synology branded DDR2 RAM module which often runs around 100 dollars. Beware the Kingston Value RAM (http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-ValueRAM-1066MHz-Non-ECC-Notebook/dp/B0050X1OQ6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389982073&sr=8-3&keywords=synology+ddr2+ram) as its the physical break in the memory pins does not align with the memory slot on the Diskstation.So worth the cost of upgrade, dowload tasks, screen navigation, and videostation all perform noticeably faster.

I haven't bought this product, but I found it when looking for a different product. It is advertised as being 2GB PC2-5300 (667Mhz) 200 pin DDR2 SODIMM Samsung (BUH) but that is not what it is. If you look at the picture it is actually Samsung 2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL6 200-Pin SODIMM Memory Module Mfr P/N M470T5663EH3-CF7. So what is correct, the picture or the title?

Bought this because it was the exact RAM pre-installed in my old Dell Inspiron 1525, now running Windows 10. No surprise, it works perfectly alongside the old 2GB module -- and I can finally open as many browser tabs as I like!

seems to be slightly faster than the stock 1GB DIMM that was in thereand at $20 for 2GB not a bad deal

Working well with Lenovo G505
