512GB SSD and 16 GB RAM version review
It tends to spike in ram and cpu usage on startup, but that may have been due to needing windows updates. It works well enough with wifi and ethernet. Its good enough for general work with word/excel/power-point, but don't expect the best gaming or video experience out of it. I got the 512GB with 16GB RAM version, but it's more efficient and economical to get the 256GB or 128GB SSD with 16GB or 8GB RAM and get an external SSD instead in hindsight. Still, it satisfies my needs for a work laptop. It holds it's battery charge of about 10 hours as advertised so far. Lightweight and easy to wipe down. The recharge is pretty fast and gets done in 60-90 minutes for my purchased version to 100% battery. The Bluetooth connection has a tendency to flicker at more than 15ft. Its a good computer for its price. There might be more base SSD or RAM options after my purchase since this is a relatively new laptop model so keep that in mind before considering purchasing from this vendor.

Purchased 2 years ago and still going strong
I bought this 2 years ago when I decided to return to college. I am halfway through my degree now and this laptop still works like it did the day I bought it. It has written many papers and is used a lot . I love it. Highly recommend

Great for the value. 12 GB RAM
I have had the [HP 14" HD SVA Anti-Glare Micro-Edge Screen Laptop, AMD Athlon Silver 3050U Processor up to 3.20GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, Wireless-AC, Bluetooth, Windows 10, Jet Black, KKE Mousepad Bundle] for several months now, and I use it for many hours per day. I am happy with the laptop. It is simple to use. Most everything works exactly as I expected. Small, lightweight, simple. My only complaint is that the USB-C port does not support display outputs (HDMI / VGA). It was not clear from the description. It took me significant troubleshooting and eventually getting on the phone with HP to understand that the USB-C port only supports data transfer (not video output). So, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, card readers, Ethernet ... those types of things work great through the proper equipment when connected to the USB-C. But not VGA and HDMI. I wish it was more clear i in the description.

The best laptop with the best price I have ever bought
I needed a 14" laptop for both travel and at home, and I browsed in Amazon. A number of HP configurations PConline365 presented attracted me. After a quick comparison, I purchased one HP with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD - since I have mycloud and all my data files stored there, so I don't need a big hard drive but I do need a quick and stable one, that's why I selected SSD 256. Here are my experience: (1) Got the laptop on time (2 days - extremely prompt); (2) The performance is so cool: very fast to boot; (3) Very quiet: I have a laptop with HDD I did not feel noisy before - now I do; (4) I have a USB to HDMI adapter, so I am able to project my laptop to 2 monitors - one with the existing HDMI, the other with the adapter. Look/feel so good; (5) The price is unbeatable. So far I really like it. Will update the review after a month.7/16/2020: About one month after purchase, I really like it and have nothing complaint about it. Now my wife needs one, and she tried my laptop and loved it. So I just made another purchase a minute ago, same configuration. I will see how it goes. I will update my new experience...

Great Laptop For Regular Use
I love it! I'm not a tech savvy person by any means, but this is a great upgrade from my 3 year old Dell Inpsiron which only had 8gb of RAM. There is a noticeable difference in how much quicker this laptop can switch from applications without overheating.Battery life seems to be good, I'm currently at about 85% after using it unplugged for the last 1 hour and a half. That seems reasonable.Runs videos and high performance programs pretty nicely. My only con is that the screen's brightest setting isn't anything extreme, but if that is the only downside of this laptop then I am okay with that. One more thing is I don't seem to have the "windows video editor" program that is built into the "photos" app on this laptop which was also disappointing. Articles online aren't really helpful or lead to anywhere I can find a download link, sigh.Overall this is a great value at a great price. The perfect laptop for an average person like myself!

more hype than anything else. Not as advertised
let me start by just saying, that ANYTHING is better than a Chromebook. My computer gave out after a long haul just as I began my Ph.D. program. I was desperate for something affordable because the program alone set me back 52k. HUGE mistake. I went to Amazon in search of something that would turn on. This laptop is great for a teenager just getting into high school. I was very disappointed that with a device that is marketed as a 16 GB ram laptop is 13.9 GB and performs like an 8 Gb ram at best. My ethernet connection (direct) is far less on this laptop than my previous laptop which was an 8 GB ram laptop. I want to say it is the processor inside that kills it. 16gb 32gb 64gb whatever it is means NOTHING w out a good processor to back it up. The speaker on the device is also broken. Aside from not performing as advertised, it is a decent machine for the basics. Sending an email, social media, intent messaging, etc. Anything else, it lags greatly.

Just what the doctor ordered
A nice laptop with just what I need. Mostly I use it for writing but also downloading and viewing videos I digitized from old eight mm films. With the solid state drive it boots rapidly. The only thing I don't like is the Window 10 home version that is loaded. Had to disable a bunch of stuff, especially One Drive. Keyboard has large keys which is nice for my five thumbed hands. Screen is bright. Don;t need a touch screen so that is not missed. My third HP laptop. I did not give the free mouse pad, but then, it doesn't come with a mouse. Price is good compared to, say, a Dell or other "name" computers. Only 2 usb ports, tho.

Good budget laptop.
My family got this laptop for our grand father. He is new to using computers. So we wanted one that was to be easy to use and replace in case he damaged the laptop. The laptop come with good features for users who are not power users and has a good value per dollar ratio. For the everyday casual users this laptop will have no problems doing what is asked of it.
