It's always so hard to pick a good set of scales and after hours of research and review reading I choose these. I am delighted with my choice as they are proving to be extremely accurate. I have compared them against the large mechanical scales at my surgery and gym, and I am getting the same readings every time.The scales have a wide foot area and a low profile, so there is no wobble if you don't stand on them squarely.I have them on a piece of hardboard on a carpeted floor and they work perfectly.The surface is comfortable to stand on, even on these freezing cold mornings.The display is very large and very bright. Easy to read, and stays on for several seconds after you step off.Changing from Stones/Kilos/Pounds, is just the press of a small button.Overall these are basic scales with no bells and whistles, but they look very smart, the colour makes them unobtrusive, and they are Accurate.

Great product and I'm really happy I went with these over some other glass looking ones. Its nice and secure on the ground and not slippy and the way the display comes on just when you step on it is great and I no longer need to tap my scales to wake them up. The readings are spot on every time and are not affected by standing in a different location each time. Because of this I you can stand on the scales and look at the screen rather than trying to stand straight up to get a good reading and so you can look at the screen and once it flashes that's it. Very clear to read in all sorts of light as well and I would strongly recommend these to anyone.

Superb set of scales, visually very smart and slim, large display and plenty wide enough for me. Like most of the bathroom scales on sale, they do not work well on carpet, but if you have a shower unit, they work perfectly when placed on the shower base (make sure its dry first, they are not guaranteed if the internals get wet). Weight is repeatable after the calibration step (which you must do after each move of the scales and as I need to do when using on the shower base) and as far as I can tell, the scales are also accurate.

I purchased these scales in May 2018. Initially great, the display is clear and like any scale you step on, weigh and step off so they can be classed as easy to use. They then started to give different readings and within minutes of a weight the reading would be significantly different! and then they packed up! I changed the batteries and with new ones not working looked to the guarantee ... when I purchased advertised as 5 years ... but getting the box out and looking at the leaflet states its only one year so just out of guarantee! If your looking for scales recommend you go to a company that specialises in scales and do not give second or more chances if the weigh is out, get straight on to them and get a replacement/refund!Update:Since posting the above I decided to go back to the supplier regarding the faulty scales, to be honest didn't expect to hear back but I did and even better they sent a replacement out .. fingers crossed they prove to be more reliable than the last ones :-)

I bought a set of scales as I'm starting a diet plan. I needed a set to monitor my progress but also a suitable scale to support my heavy weight. Overall, this is an okay set, it's light and a sturdy build.However, I don't know if it's faulty or not calibrated well, the results are not consistent. One reading will say one thing then the next will be different by a fair bit. This won't be suitable for someone looking for accurate down to the tee readings. I just get about 3-4 results then calculate an average.I give it a 4 out of 10, as it's purpose as a scale is not great. Only positive I can give it, is the build quality for my weight, I don't feel like I'm going to break it when I stand on it.Edit 14/09/2020 - I've now lowered to a 1 star, the following day of me using this scales again showed a much larger discrepancy of results. Unless I somehow magically lost 94lbs overnight, I don't recommend this scale and am in the process of a faulty return.

As my old scales got temperamental, i saw these on a link within another set on deal of the day. These appeared well priced at £15 - maybe too cheap to be any good? Thinking a might return them i was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. Good size (bigger than average scale - more rectangle than square) nice thin design and bright blue easy to read LCD display. I adjusted them to Stone and Lb via the button underneath and tried them out. Measures Stone, Lb and up to 1/10th lb. Using scales i know to be accurate I found that these are accurate too - within 0.5lb and are consistent in that repeated attempts gives the same weight so great for monitoring weight. Auto switch on - just step on and they turn on and weigh you within seconds - auto shut off after a few seconds when you step off - Very happy a great but - comes with required 2xAA batteries

A very nice looking scales. I chose it because it didn't have a glass top - I don't like having glass items in the bathroom where the chance of soapy hands dropping things onto the glass is very high!The display is bright, easy to read (even without my specs on!), I like that it holds the reading for a while too. It is also easy to switch units metric/imperial. While quite large, it would have been nice to be able to store it on it's side or end, but that is a minor point really.When you go to use it, you just need to hop on and off to activated it, then step on and wait for it to latch the actual reading, which seems accurate and repeatable (sadly it doesn't get less however many times you try!).
