Will these be suitable for a child? (Wearing 7-8 clothing) is it really one size fits all?

Hi have just measured it against my granddaughter s hat .Sh is 2 and it is about an inch wider than her hat lying flat. So it should fit ok. They are long about 18 inches but could be cut or as I do worn as multiple layers. I have been using them for many a year and love them for biking.cycling. fishing etc. You can get fleece ones as well for the winter.
