Don’t waste your money!!Very disappointing. Awful product. Looks cheap and nasty and keeps falling apart even after using glue.Hasn’t deterred the birds either. Have tried adding black feathers to create a more realistic look but I might as well not have bothered.It’s not exactly cheap either……

Rooks have woken us up before 5am for almost three weeks now. After buying a fake owl (which worked for a couple of days) I'd heard that the fake crow would scare off the rooks. When it came, the wings wouldn't fit onto the body properly, but I wasn't going to be deterred and got out my glue gun to make sure they would stay on. I also thought that the edges of the wings weren't realistic enough, so I bought some black feathers and stuck them onto the wings. The feet were made from black pipe cleaners as the original feet would make the crow stand up and they were on a stand which looked very strange when hung upside down! Our rooks are a pretty tough crowd so this needed to be believable! With the extra feathers I'd bought I scattered them below the crow and waited.It worked! Very strange noises from the rooks the next morning, it sounded as though they were pretty upset at my fake dead crow who was posing as a rook, and we haven't been bothered with them since!I'm not sure if it would have worked if I hadn't have made the bird look more realistic as I wasn't taking any chances! But it's done the job and I can at last wake up at a sensible time now every morning!

The crow is quite realistic and comes with a hook to hang it with. Unfortunately the hook can easily become detached. There were a set of feet in the package but they don't appear to fit anywhere on the bird and no instructions to help. I hung the decoy in a barn that jackdaws are trying to nest in, but they have taken no notice of it at all! Tried moving it several times but still they continue to drop piles of sticks on the shed floor building their nests. Have also tried a plastic owl which was also useless. Looks like nothing short of a gun will stop them!

The quality of the crow is not the best. The wings don't seem to clip in, we used Gorilla tape to hold together,the hanger pushes into the bird but the bird falls off the hanger rendering it useless. When the bird fell it's beak broke off- more Gorilla tape.All that said, we are seven days with our taped up crow and appear to have scared off the starlings, and crows, that were attempting to make their home in our eaves.We're rural dwellers with a large crow population. Our dead crow, coupled with some yellow balloon bird scarers is doing the job.... just hope it continues!

Absolutely rubbish you have to just about break it to attach the wings and absolutely no clue how to attach the fence hook!Should have took note of the other bad reviews but thought as this was the most expensive one on Amazon it must be ok, wrong again. Can’t send it back as the body has pushed in trying to fit the wings so I have had to modify it. Hope it scares the crows away at least.

Was dubious about these things, but got a few crows creating havoc amongst the little birds. Arrived next day really early, so it was up a pole by midday, time for the crows. Was amazed when I looked out after about an hour, perched high up in a tree 2 crows and 3 magpies, all looking into the garden but not moving. Then one of the crows started squawking like crazy, which started of the other one, definitely not happy and low and behold 15 mins later flew off. Checking in general after that, the crows are staying up in the trees, looking in but not coming down. Brilliant, meanwhile the little fella's are getting on with feeding as normal. Just what it was bought for...
