I have come to really love this product! I bought it initially because one of our suites is perfect to catch the lake breeze which then slams the interior door shut to the hallway. The magnetic connection is strong enough to fight that wind and not have the crashing noise for other guests. Since that purchase, I have now switched nearly all of our stoppers out so that doors stay nice, clean and flat against the wall, even if the door is slightly out of level. I would highly recommend this as the first product installed to avoid the swap out later in your life :-)

Nice upgrade for my interior doors

I had a door that always closed when we wanted it open most of the time. I had a sample paint jug keeping it open. This looks so much better. Easy to install with screwdriver and drill. They provide the accessories for multiple types if install. I had a simple baseboard installation. Initially, I thought the magnet was too strong and it would be hard to close the door when needed. My initial impression was wrong. Once installed it is easy to close the door and if the magnet wasn't as strong, the door might not stay open. This is on a door where I have my ironing board hung in an over the door rack and so it is heavier than a plain door.

Crazy strong. The strongest magnets on anything like this I have ever used. If you need the darn door to stay open, these will do it, as long as you line it up correctly. I do wish the posts were a little shorter, as the door sticks out a bit from the wall. If they were about 3/4" shorter, they would be perfect. As far as I can see, no way to adjust length.This also works well in a fish bowl.

So I have this on a solid door going to the garage. The previous one from HD would bounce off when you tried to hold the door. Not this one, it holds tight. To release the door a trick is to push on it slightly and then pull. That is easier than just pulling it straight. Using supplied screws to baseboard worked fine. Also I like the look of it with no exposed stainless steel parts or screws. Mine did not have any engraved logo. Time will tell on the rust. So far so good.

Bought these when I first moved into our house and was tired of doors slamming shut when all the windows were open. I didn't want to have to use a manual door stop, and stumbled upon these. They are pretty easy to install, you just line them up with the door and the wall/floor where you mount them. Two screws into the door and 3 into the receiver end and you are done.They look really nice and work great. The magnet is strong enough to make sure the door doesn't blow close, but not so strong that you can't easily close it yourself. You can also adjust how much "contact" the door and receiver side have so that you can decrease how strong the hold on the door is.I've had these for over two years and they look and work like day one. I've recommended them to some family friends who all also have liked them.
