It is quite palatable and dissolves well in the milk of my morning cereal.

The vanilla flavor is pretty dominant and can taste a bit artificial, which means it tends to overpower whatever drink you put it in. The product is effective if they drink it, but be ready for a flavor fight with any picky eaters. Great formula, difficult delivery.

This is a highly complete supplement and the manufacturer has gone to sufficient lengths to keep the dosage of all of the ingredients in a range that is suitable for children. That means that I don't have to give my little one an adult specific product that I then titrate myself by reducing the dosage size. I ordered this shake and the Mindful Nutrition Kids Protein Powder Shake Mix to see which one my son would like better. I also tried both of them. We mixed both with water and used a shaker ball and mason jar to mix. This shake tasted thicker and more "gritty" or like the powder doesn't mix as well compared to the Mindful Nutrition Kids Protein Powder. So if your child is particular with textures or thickness of drinks, I'd recommend the Mindful Nutrition Kids Protein Powder Shake Mix over this mix.
