Bottom line: yes buy it!! This was a great Halloween advent calendar. It is a lot of fun to open each day and get a surprise Funko doll. The Funko‘s are very small and are only 1 1/2 to 2 inches tall. The toys themselves are good quality. They mimic the quality of a full-size Funko doll, so the product met my expectations. You cannot swivel the head of the doll. The toy is a little top-heavy, so sometimes they fall over. I had 2 repeating characters in different poses, which was a little disappointing, I wish I had a different character, I got Pennywise twice. The shining twins were a pair, but were spread out over two days. I wish the advent calendar was numbered backwards from October 31, so you knew when to open each box. but it is true to the description, the boxes are number one through 13. In total, I received 14 Funko pops because on the 31st day, I got two dolls. My box insert was installed upside down, which you can see in my video. There were three boxes under the 31 tab which was upside down. My number one tab only had two boxes, but three squares across the top number one through three. So the product was made upside down and incorrectly. But that did not really hinder my experience. it is a great quality product for the money, I recommend buying this for the Halloween lover in your life.

I had received this and saved it until Halloween countdown. I just finished it up on halloween. The characters are well made, and the paint jobs were really well done. A couple of the movies represented I had not seen in years, so it was a pleasant surprise. It's true that one of the characters is in there twice, with different decorations, but, overall, the selection was good. I have to make note of the packaging. The cardboard calendar is good sturdy cardboard. Opening the doors was easy, without tearing anything up. This is not always the case with character calendars like this. Also, each character has it's own sturdy compartment, that keeps them from mixing up with other days, which is sometimes the case. I am very pleased with this product. If you like "spooky" movies, and want something different to add interest to your Halloween season, this might just be the thing!

I have only opened 2 so far trying to resist opening the rest buy these are well made and super cute. I would buy this again if they had different ones. Only thing I would suggest is not putting the pictures of the figures inside on the outside of the box so they are more of a surprise. It is removable though if you're giving it as a gift.

I bought this Horror Advent calendar to count down to my birthday August 13th. I'm a big horror movie fan and my favorite holiday is Halloween that's why this was perfect for me. These had good details and looks just like the pictures. My only complaint is there was two Pennywise's and no other Halloween or horror movie characters like Michael Myers, Carrie, Chucky etc. I would have love to see Michael in this set. Other than that this is an awesome Advent calendar.

I think this really deserves a 4.5 stars. I was VERY nervous seeing people's reviews about broken figures and exact duplicates. I guess we lucked out and got a pristine set. We only got one duplicate character (Pennywise) although the figure was a different pose. There are so many other awesome horror films they could have pulled from, I found it weird to offer the same character twice, which is the only reason I am deducting a star. Other than that this was a great gift for my son whose birthday is on the 13th so we were able to use this as a count down calendar to his birthday. He was excited to open them up every morning. He's 5 and obsessed with Halloween. These are great for his interests without being inappropriate for his age. There were some characters he wasn't familiar with but was happy with all of them none the less. If they came out with a second series with different horror characters, I would definitely buy it.

Purchased this advent for my brother and his family. They thoroughly enjoyed anticipating each day's gift! The only regret I really have is the same as many others have stated: there are two nearly identical figures of Pennywise. The one where he is holding the beaver hat is kind of a useless addition, since you can't even tell what it is in his hands: we had to look up the full sized Pennywise pops to figure it out. Michael Myers being omitted is almost criminal, and having the same character twice in such a small collection was kind of lame, but didn't dampen everyone's enjoyment of the collection as a whole. I'd definitely take a chance on another pop advent in the future. (Last year's Marvel 80th anniversary advent was stellar!)

My youngest daughter loves Halloween so much that she got married on it. She also loves horror movies, so I got this for her. She and her husband opened up a new box every few days with the plan being to open up the last one on their anniversary. All I can say is that they LOVED the entire set. Not only did they get Pennywise and Jason, they got Beetlejuice, Lydia, and Audrey 2. If you or someone you know loves Halloween or horror movies, get them this gift.

Haven't actually opened the calendar yet so not sure what the toys really look like but the box is a good size and I'm impressed by the way it looks

A must have for any horror movie fans. Although two Pennywises? What’s the need for that? Could be a Chucky instead! My opinion…
