I use this paddings when I am hiking. They seem to fit my legs pretty well and my legs are fairly large so they offer extra protection in terms of injuries. I wouldn’t use them if I am trying to protect my legs from snakes, but they do very well when I am, moving in bushy or rocky areas. They do film a bit warm as if you have an added layer of clothing that provides significant warm during the colder days. I think they are well suited when you are trying to hike wearing shorts because when you use them, you felt like you have pants on. I also feel like they are great during the winter as a secondary clothing because of the warm the Velcro straps seems to be very well-made. They are comfortable. The length of the items itself seems to fit my legs very well.

These are perfect for doing weed eating while still wearing shorts in the heat of the summer.

These leg protectors are made of a thin foam-like material that goes on with Velcro. I bought these for my husband to protect his shins from stones when he is weed whacking in the back of our property. His shins were always getting welts from the rocks and looked terrible. He has been using these since and no bruises so well worth the money. Wish they were a bit thicker but so far they have served their purpose and should last for at least the next few summers.

These offer great protection to your lower legs and the Velcro is strong and convenient.

Dealing with a teenage rooster, going through hormonal "rooberty" was getting me slammed calves pretty much daily...put the protectors on & they work great..also very comfortable I like how they can be adjusted easily & also for temperature control

Great protection from brush. Not sure if these will stop or limit rattlesnake bite penetration but I guess anything is better than nothing. Very light product that fits well. I never noticed them while riding. They come as two lefts which is probably how they can sell for the price.

I am a daily bike commuter, and use platform pedals that always hit my shins, painfully, so this is a great solution because they do protect my shins.Good - they are easy to put on and do protectBad - the velcro wears out and they do get hot

I use these for added protection for my shins on my mountain bike rides. I ride a 6 mile loop with 900ft elevation gain, single track. I carry them in my jersey pockets on the climb and easily put them on before the descent. Since I ride 3-4 times weekly the various scrapes, nicks and scratches really add up. So far I can definitely attest to their protection from the brush. They are neoprene and like a wetsuit can get warm. I haven't found it to be an issue and feel the benefits are worth it. In one area of stream crossing there is also considerable poison oak. Last time I had a bad bout the rash started on my calf so these gators should help. I rinse them by hand thoroughly after each use and lay them out to dry. So far so good. I have used them about 5 times now. They seem well constructed and I have not had any irritation or allergic reaction.
