INBIKE Women 3D Padded Breathable Cycling Shorts Bike Underwear Upgrade

Having returned to cycling after years without a bike, I was slightly disturbed by the tiny and fairly hard saddle on my new Specialized hybrid. In my ignorance I asked if it were possible to buy softer saddles, a request that had all of the assistants in the cycle shop in stitches, before explaining that I should buy padded cycling pants. I was a little apprehensive to buy a garment that looks like a baboon's arse, until I realised that the Amazon photo is of the pants inside out. And so I bought them and they arrived. Putting them on was a bit odd, having a wedge of gel / foam cossetting my nether regions, but all that changed once on my bike - I forgot they were on, and cycled for miles very comfortably. They've also been through the wash now, and came out and dried just fine, so these rather strange pants get the thumbs up from this returning cyclist :-)

Very good product for casual weekend bike ride. Bum starts to hurt a few miles sooner than if wearing my top brand shorts. Sizing seems on the small size but quite thin and stretchy fabric so not uncomfortable.

It helps from getting saddle sore, but it wasn't as soft as the one I used to have.

I feel ridiculous wearing these, but they really made a difference riding my bike! I went on a 30 mile trip the other day with no saddle sore, which is new for me. So I am very happy with these. Great find.
