Screen came in without a crack. Ordered two screens on different sellers. I think what happens is the tools that come with it will somewhat damage the screens if they don't take care of the shipping/handling. This product came in without any cracks and come pre-installed with stickers which makes the install easier.

I will be returning it

It worked, I got this to replace my son's iPad mini 2 shattered screen. I don't know why I bought this set but I should have bought one with better tools. You can find replacement videos on youtube and see what tools will be really useful. I will update this review later with what was left of the tools. That said, I made it work, and the digitizer itself was good. It probably took me 1.5 to 2 hours. I didn't really keep track of time but the video I was following along was 45 min and I took a lot longer.

No, where does it say? You need to use a hot gun which I do not have. Tried hair dryer but that did not work
