Protyn BSF Live Larvae Treat - Food for Aquarium Fishes - High Protein and 50x More Calcium Than Mealworm (500 Larvae)

I needed live larvae for an asian koel bird i had rescued. I was sceptical of receiving live worms and also if the bird would accept the worms. A query to the seller met with a prompt response. But despite the seller's conviction that the worms will be liked by all insectivorous birds the koel rejected the worms. However that does not reflect the product quality. I received the worms in a white plastic jar with a screwed cap. The cap had minute holes to allow the bottle to breathe. The worms were all alive. Today after a week also most are alive. Some have turned dark. But most importantly all are alive. I am using them to feed one of the larger fishes in my aquarium. So procuring the bottle is not a waste. But people planning to procure it for birds should not be too enthusiastic. The price point imo is on the higher side but i guess it's due to demand versus supply. Overall nothing negative about the product.

This is a very bad product. Super smelly, smells like absolute chemical. One of my oscars died, hardly other ate, got entire water and tank very smelly and dirty. Not Recommended if you love your fishes.

Toya Hi red😝 Many nore available. 🐣🐓🐔🐤🐥🐛🐜🐝🦗🐞 Fish was in love with this food. Also my turtle grubbed it immediately. The negative impact was of quantity. Promise was of 100 but I only received round about 60. 😒 Dissapointing.

Both of my Arowanas (Red and Silver) loves it. 5 Star Dislikes #Since this is live fish food, so it is quite difficult to keep them live. There is no proper documents with this product on how to keep them. In my case these Larvae started dying. Just it is written keep in cool dry place. 3 Star #Quite Expensive. 2 Star

If you have Asian Arowana go for it without second thought, I have Malaysia Highback Arowana of 1.5 ft. Earlier I have maintained him on market prawns only but he is not eating them eagerly. Just received 200 BSFL Larvae yesterday ( all are in live condition) . My Arowana is eating this live food super eagerly now he is eating 30 larvae in morning and 30 larvae in evening. After introducing this live food to my arowana he is showing super activeness and eagerly searching this live food all the time in the Aquarium. If you love your pet and searching good live food then there is nothing is better than this in the whole world ... Now today I have punched my second order BSFL 500 larvae as it will 6 days to take the delivery...... to my address. Just go for it you will more than happy with your buying of BSFL Larvae

Update on Feb 3, 2020. I bought this 18 days ago and all the larvae are alive, but the surprising thing is, there were 10 larvae still in the jar and now they turned into full grown flies !!!! I let them go outside, but food is highly recommended, it shows that larvae was healthy. Its an awesome product and you can buy it blindly. I read the previous customer reviews and was little skeptical to buy since the seller said that the larvae would be alive and be kept for 15 days. But to my surprise, when i opened my package all the larvae were alive and wriggling. They were very active. I fed few larvae, cut into little pieces since my cichlids are normal in size, once i dropped the pieces my cichlids wanted more and more. I really recommend to go for it.
