Electronic ballast replacement for a T9 40W Fluorescent tube.
Like others I needed to replace a Landlite EB-56 but couldn’t source one anywhere. This was to fit inside a bathroom mirror with a 40W T9 Circular Fluorescent tube of 400mm diameter. The unit was delivered the next day! And works. Build quality is not brilliant and the only information is on a sticker on the unit (in Chinese). Others have mentioned the short leads and lack of an earth wire, which was a little concerning and no reference to which wire is live and which neutral but it did the job (I used the grey wire as live and the white as neutral). I managed to locate the unit close enough to avoid splicing new wires on. To be fair it is not overly expensive, delivered very quickly and it works so I don’t really have a reason to knock a star off.

compact and leightweight
Used to replace failed ballast on a Roper Rhodes mirror. Nice and small + very lightweight, works fine. Only concern is that the L & N terminals are not marked and there is instruction sheet. I used the one above the E as the L and one below E as N. This worked but I don't know what would happen if I had reversed the L & N.It could be that this ballast can be wired either way, but it would be good if that was advised on the carton.

Bought this ballast to replace one that was broken. It was easy to fit and worked straight away.

Not suitable
Not fit for purpose was dodgy light worked for 10 mins then the unit was heating up! refunded and got another which was fine

Easy to fit and does the job, but does not deliver full output to the tube.

Like lightening
Converted an old analog Ballest starter to a digital one and hey presto instant start up and saving on the electric Bill; simple diagrams of what you need to remove and how to connect this semi conductor kit; start up....like lightening.

Bought as a replacement for a ballast no longer manufactured
It replaced the ballast on a bathroom mirror light. The light is not as bright as it was but it saved me having to buy a new bathroom mirror.

Replaces Landlite EB-56 Roper Rhodes
So used to replace a Landlite EB-56 which started flickering then blew just after a new bulb was fitted.This comes with no markings, no instructions and googles translate on box just states it’s a good product.No earth - if that’s an issue for youI used white as live and grey as neutral and it worked fine.
