Great TV at a great price!
Very happy with this product! The TV has a nice clear picture and was super easy to mount into my existing TV mount. Only one complaint - and it really isn't the seller or product but in the delivery process. This tv was delivered a day after the promised date, and quite late in the evening while I happened to be out (after staying home all day the TV was due as well as the next day up to six pm, when I went out to dinner). The delivery company (I dare not say the name for fear my review won't be posted but it's the boys in brown - lol!) left this HUGE box sitting right on the porch in front of my front door. This time of year, there are many packages stolen even in my neighborhood. Thankfully, I happened to look at my phone at the exact moment the pop up message came announcing the delivery. I panicked but was able to contact a neighbor down the street who was able to quickly come up to my home and, after I had to tell her where the emergency key was AND my guest alarm code - now changed just in case - she was able to drag the box inside my home. Strongly suggest you leave a message for seller to leave a message for delivery company (if you can follow that) to either require a signature or designate a hidden place for your package to be left. As for the TV though, this is what I have learned: 1) Unless you watch a ton of serious HD TV or HD gaming, there really is not much difference between this and the double resolution. I promise. I have the other in my living room. Also, if you are thinking of getting a "smart" TV, DONT! Just buy this TV and an Amazon Fire STICK or ROKU OR plug in your Xbox 360 or Xbox one and you get EXACTLY the same service for several hundred dollars less! Seriously - tons of free movies stations plus Hulu and Netflix and Fox News and I could just go on and on! This TV is perfect for my bedroom and I cannot believe the amazing price!!! I gave myself an early Christmas gift! Hooray! Buy this TV! I know nothing of the brand but for the price I can't go wrong. Oh one little thing I found exceptionally ironic - the TV was made in China, but printed in large letters on both large sides of the box is written "America's Choice". That cracked me up! Still, a decent TV for a great price!

A great product for a picky consumer!
A really amazing product. I can write paragraphs about this features and quality of Avera. First, I bought two of these after observing the market for high definition, HDMI LED non-Smart televisions, First, I scouted electronic and discount stores for an overview of the 32" marketplace. In doing so, I found Smart TV's were a focus, and 3D/4G were popular. Basically brands that perform and appear the way I expect were costlier, such as Proscan or Sharp. In my case, where I needed televisions and what I expected technologically was more important than the latest bells and whistles. I don't need a Smart TV as I use AppleTv as a primary streaming device with DirectvNOW. So, HDMI, Sound & Picture quality, HD 1080p and the number of inputs of course were my focus. Note the description states it is a 720p LED backlit television. Actually, before my purchase I searched the internet to find the manufacturer is a major Chinese tech company, and their advances in other areas were extremely impressive. Then, I read the specs and found the TV has a multi-core processor, advanced mapping, virtual 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate plus high contrast due to lighting in millions of pixels independently adjusting automatically. Additionally the sound is high definition - all due to advanced development and in-house production of impressive computing components designed within the corporate structure of "CEC - China Electronics Corporation". Add to that an 18 month warranty and Support via toll-free telephone and email service, it's hard to find this quality at amazing low prices. At first setup, it was easy to handle choosing video and audio settings that looked and sounded great for my space and expectations. Only one thing is am issue, the remote must be pointed directly at the lower left hand part of the television for a response. At first it was annoying however it no longer is an issue. Overall, the Avera experience is flawless and I will continue to buy this brand with confidence as much as I have in the past with Sony and Mitsubishi. Their corporate website is Averadigital.com.
