Perfect MB for a mid-range gaming system.
We purchased this motherboard for my son's Steam/Stream box. The included XSplit Gamecaster software was perfect for him to figure out and use to start streaming. The only thing I wish it had was integrated wi-fi, but there is enough expansion capability to allow for anything from a usb dongle to a wireless network adapter. This is his current setup: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/s6QnvK The BIOS configuration tool is simple and easy to use. I have become accustomed to MSI's Live Update and Command Center applications. I have found them reliable and easy to use. 5/5 would buy again.

I had to get two of these mother boards the fist one short circuited and I thought I would just get a new one so I got a new one sent to me but when I plugged everything in a blue bug light was flashing so I do t know what's wrong with it they said online to update the bios but I can't update the bios with a computer that won't even turn on so I had to put my old mother board in with my old processor till I get my money refunded but the moral of the story is get another mother board if you have a Intel core i5 4690

About a year ago I bought this motherboard for my brand new PC I was building and it worked perfectly for a year. Now I changed my GPU from a 780 to a 980 ti and the chipset died for no apparent reason, this motherboard is good for a little bit but may die on you without warning.

Amazing, but not sure if problem
MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards H97 GAMING 3 MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards H97 GAMING 3 The motherboard has everything I need for my build, but I'm just wondering if the cpu socket should have the three missing parts at the top which my mobo has. I have had it for a few weeks without a cpu yet and it was pointed out to me that it was 'bent', yet it seems as though it was made like that.

and maybe a little bit because I think the logo looks good. But I have to say
I wasn't sure which brand of mobo I wanted for my first build, as everyone seems to pick sides for obscure reasons. Eventually I went on this for both the price, and maybe a little bit because I think the logo looks good. But I have to say, after using it, I will probably always go for MSI boards when available. I am just immensely impressed with everything about it, especially the utilities included. Usually I avoid 'bonus' software like the plague, but I tried theirs just out of curiosity. They're all system monitoring and tweaking related, and I have to say they're all very good. It actually made me somewhat regret not getting the Z97 chipset version just to better utilize their overclocking software. But no regrets. This mobo is outstanding.

Works great for builds with ONE graphics card
Ordered this for my SLI gaming build. Upon installation found out it only supports one graphics card despite being listed as having *two(2) PCI-E x 16 (3.0) slots. This MOBO worked great with everything else, worked right out of the box without any additional driver installation, sound drivers and on board video drivers worked well. The product specs are misleading and do not mention the fact the the MOBO will PHYSICALLY support two PCI-E x 16 (3.0) GPU's however, the second GPU that is installed will automatically be downgraded to PCI-Ex8 instead of PCI-Ex16. I returned this item shortly thereafter and spent the extra $10 to buy the MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45 GAMING which supports SLI.
