I have a wide foot and have been searching for my first pair of skates for roller derby. These were recommended by a teammate for wide feet, and they fit me snug. I say snug, because skates don't go in half sizes and I'm a 6.5, and needed these in a 5, so I was forced to go down a size and a half instead of a recommended one size. BUT I have to say they are PERFECT. I love the snug fit, because it feels like an extension of my own foot, which makes it more comfortable when performing tasks or 'tricks' and obstacles for derby. Also, they have fit my foot more perfectly as I've used them and broken them in. These are very comfortable, do NOT hurt my feet at all like the rentals from the rink did, I can wear them for hours without complaint. Thank you Sure Grip for making the perfect beginner derby skate.
