LOVE these garden
So happy I purchased these! Last year I used traditional “raised beds” for my garden, which are still at ground level. I wanted a true raised bed one that didn’t require my back to bend or To be on my knees weeding multiple times a season. These are exactly what I want!!! They are perfect for a small garden. If you are Looking for a full bounty to feed your family all Season and then can for the winter, these are not for you (unless you purchase many) These are the perfect size to be placed on my deck while being attractive. I purchased 2 plus have a 8 pocket herb garden one being delivered tomorrow. They were incredibly easy to build. Took my husband about 30 min total to build both. The wood is nice and thick, and They are very sturdy and well made. They do need to be stained so the wood is protected and has a finished look. Really love this and a must have for anyone with small spaces, who is looking for a small garden , or just doesn’t want to bend and dig in the ground.

Beautiful cedar raised bed!
Beautifully made! I planted this bed with herbs over the summer and had success! It gave me an instant garden in a spot where the soil is full of rocks and little dirt. Very pleased!

PLEASE SEE UPDATE - Sturdy and simple to put together
UPDATE - after just a couple of months of use and no winters both long side planks are visibly warped/bowed. For some reason they are curved inwards in the middle (from top to bottom) along the full length. No idea what caused it other than the wood drying out maybe? Suspect this will be at most good for 2 seasons despite it appearing solid at the time of build. If doing it again I would search for a composite planter and skip wood altogether unless you must have wood for aesthetics. Original review: Planter is sturdy, and not as many screws as someone suggested (under 50). Took about an hour with one person. Drill a pilot hole for all the "long" screws attaching the legs but the wood screws attaching the bottom planks can just be rapid fired in with a philips bit on your cordless drill. I didn't have a single split piece of wood that some people commented on. And don't forget (like I did) to install the center cross-beam before you get the four corners all buttoned up since this step is not mentioned in the directions. I chose to have the legs cut down at my local hardware store to accommodate a trellis above it that will stay below the wall for wind protection. I used a staple gun to attach the black plastic liner to the frame although opted not to wrap it over the top edge of the planter sides so as to keep it out of view. One of the listing photos shows "Weight: 441 lbs". Of course this does not weigh 441 pounds and I thought it was a typo. According to the instructions the weight capacity of the planter is 441 lbs. I don't know how much it weighs but carried the unopened box 5 blocks down the street by myself, stopping only once. I'm now thinking of replacing my two Vegtrugs with these as the Vegtrugs are are made of cheap wood and are cracking. Going to see how the season goes with this one...

Fit and finish is quite good
I bought this Jumbl Raised Canadian Cedar Garden Bed and finally got around to assembling it today. I also purchased a Vigoro raised garden bed from Home Depot this year. Obviously, I can't tell you anything about the longevity of either product at this point as I have yet to actually put my garden beds to use growing plants. However, I can compare my experiences in unboxing and assembling these two raised garden bed units. I like the Jumbl raised garden bed better than the Vigoro in almost every respect. The surfaces on the Jumbl unit are sanded, so I did not have to be nearly as careful while assembling to avoid getting splinters compared with the Vigoro, which had unfinished surfaces. The Jumbl unit has more surface area, so I will be able to grow more plants in it. The aesthetics of the Jumbl unit are nicer than those of the Vigoro, by a lot. The Jumbl unit was quite easy to assemble, and I expect that the screws will likely hold it together well for a long time. I would recommend that you use a power screwdriver for assembly, though (which is what I did). If you were trying to put in all of those screws using only hand tools, it would require a great deal more effort. In contrast, the Vigoro is held together solely by dovetail joinery, with no fasteners of any kind. The fit between the pieces of the Vigoro unit was really sloppy and it was a PITA to assemble because of that. I didn't feel confident that the Vigoro unit would hold together by joinery alone, so I used wood glue on absolutely everything (even though the directions did not call for it). The Jumbl came with a liner. The Vigoro did not. I'm not sure how much that matters. I had weed blocking landscape fabric on hand anyway, so it wasn't really an issue for me. The one aspect of the Vigoro unit that I found preferable to this Jumbl unit was that the Vigoro is a little taller (1 3/4"), which is a slightly better height for working with the plants without bending at the waist. The Jumbl unit was more expensive, although there was an Amazon coupon on it when I purchased it, so the price difference between the two units was less than it otherwise would have been. In my opinion, the Jumbl unit was worth the little bit of extra money.

Sturdy
It looks nice. It was easy to put together with all holes already drilled. Very sturdy and a good size.

This garden bed was a little more expensive than others I saw on Amazon, and it is worth the money! It is made of very nice quality clear cedar (No visible knots). It is well designed, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. Highly recommended!

This planter looks beautiful and is the perfect size for the little herb garden I wanted. Also easy to put together if you have a power drill. Highly recommend!

Wanted to try growing my own vegetables this year. Only took an hour or so to put together with one minor instruction mishap which we were able to correct. Would recommend for anyone requiring a raised garden bed - which I needed.

This planter looks great and is a good price considering it is cedar. It’s easy to assemble, although you’d certainly want a power drill. I removed one star because it would be nice if all the holes were pre-drilled. In addition, mine came with a serious defect: each leg has two sets of pre-drilled holes at a right angle to each other. The holes are offset so that the screws don’t cross each other… except in one case they weren’t offset. Luckily I noticed before we tried to drive one screw into the side of another! You can see in the photos how the holes aren’t offset, and as a result how the first screw blocks the path of the second.
