Is the Honeycrisp the best apple variety ever developed? No (that would be the SweeTango). Is it the best variety that everyone in the US can get? Yes. Hands down. A properly grown Honeycrisp is sweet and crisp in perfect balance. It has none of the qualities of a Red Delicious and that is what makes it awesome. Would I recommend letting Whole Foods select apples for you and deliver them? No... they have never met an apple that they don't want to bruise during delivery; however, even the worst, most bruised Honeycrisp is one billion times better than a Gala or McIntosh.

Whole foods has a great organic selection and their food does not disappoint. The honeycrisp apples are not only fresh, but sweet and crunchy, just as they are supposed to be. The 3lb bag came with 8 apples, all which were in good condition. Overall, I'd recommend

What isn’t there to extol about the organic honey crisp apple? It’s shape a celestial specter, proof indeed of a higher power. It’s crisp, firm texture a salute to the lesser attended to non-taste sensors of the mouth. Then, the flavor, O wonders! Sweet, yet just tart, and then tart yet just sweet! Nary an apple compares, though worthy many do try.

The problem is with the shopper. This gorgeous delicious apple should be selected properly. I would rather be told they are sold out then to be given banged, bruised, cut, holes in my fruit.

These honey crisp apples have a wonderful crispness and flavor. They cost a little more than some other apples but they are very worth it. They arrived very fresh and not bruised. They were delicious.

These apples are sweet and sweet how you imagine an apple to smell. They were crisp and decent size. I buy a bag every other week!

I placed an order for these to pick up and they were picked well. The honeycrisp apples looked great but the taste was not fresh. I read that grocery stores can have apples as old as a year by storing them in cold rooms and putting a wax over them to make them look fresh. These apples are over priced walmart brands. I hate the produce from wholefoods.

Delicious! I order these at least once a month and look forward to that first juicy bite. Whoever thought you could crave an apple? Especially good with Pepper Jack Cheese; spicy and sweet and soft and crunchy. Yum!
