Bought this in replacement to my cheap plastic one that never fit right.This one fits well, it’s snug and doesn’t try to fall off. I’ve banged it and have dropped small things on it. No damaged, scrape or scratch. Works well and I have no complaint. Sure it’s alittle expensive but it’s very durable.

For whatever reason there are very few quality choices in cases for the 16." I've done a lot of research and the reality is that even the best reviewed cases for the 16" are lacking in one or more areas, so you have to somewhat lower your expectations and decide what features are most important to you. If you want something relatively lightweight, attractive while providing protection from nicks and dents—this is your case. I have tried cheaper alternatives and they all have had pieces crack off and generally did not fit well. This one fits nicely and covers better than the other options out there. I do not expect it will save my laptop if it were to fall but that's why I use a cushioned carrying case—I've dropped mine on concrete before and will not make the mistake of trusting a case alone to protect it. That said, I am prone to walking in to things while carrying this around, and this provides enough coverage and durability to avoid those small damages. The MacBook is not very efficient at cooling itself, so I don't hold that against the case, though it does not seem to heat up any more than usual.

The case I received is clearly not for a newer 16” MacBook Pro. Neither the top nor bottom snap in the place. The bottom shell has no appropriate side cut outs for the various slots (see photo). Perhaps the manufacturer put the wrong case in the box, but nonetheless I could not recommend purchasing this item.

don't spend your time and money buying another one. I bought two earlier because they are cheaper and I had to return them because they came with problems and their format and didn’t fit well. however this is the best. fits very well. and is well protected

I know there are a ton of more affordable options out there but I find they always crack/don't last. I've now had this for like a year? Maybe more? Incase is great great great

Good clasp and one of the best aesthetic cases I’ve used.I’ve used three different cases over the years and this is by far my favorite. It looks clean and does its job.However, within 6 months, one of the plastic parts the hold the case together started falling apart.

Got this for my husband. He just got a new Macbook Pro 16”, and it was plenty expensive. He had his last one for eight years, and never had a cover on it. As a result it was scratched, dented and just plain ugly. This should keep the new one looking great.

This case fits perfectly and allows the MacBook to close completely without any weird gaps! The texture is also smooth despite the dot appearance, which is nice. I would say the case is about 95% clear since it is slightly opaque - it also does not make the case super glossy or anything it is matte.
