Spear & Jackson 8120RS Razorsharp Telescopic Shrub & Hedge Shears. Lightweight aluminium handles - Ideal for Trimming Borders, Boxwood and Bushes, Blue & Silver

This is my third Spear and Jackson tool purchase. I also bought a Banjo Garden Fork and a set of Telescoping Ratcheting Anvil Loppers. Because of the quality of those, I decided to order these Telescoping Hedge Trimmers. They've been amazing to use already, and I think they'll be amazing for years to come. My only concern is the wavy edge on them might be hard to sharpen if/when that day comes that they need a fresh edge put on. I'd like to know how the company suggests they be sharpened given this unique design.

I bought these for my husband, who was looking for a quality shear to trim the bushes (mostly rose of Sharon). He used them and said they performed well. He had bought a new shear also from a well-known small chain hardware store, and also has used those. The proof will be how long these will last vs. the store-bought ones. These were a bit more expensive, so I'm betting these will out-last the others.If I were the one using them, I could give them a more accurate rating (4 or 5), based on personal use. But now I can only tell you what my husband told me.
