Incoming , honest review. First off this does what it needs to do. I purchased this because I had saw ads on TikTok using this product on type 4 hair. I used it first on my husbands hair after a wash and let me just say. Why didn’t I purchase this sooner. Not only does it dry extremely well but the detangling process was so much easier. Yes the heat can get extremely hot , however there are different modes to your liking. The device is light weight / easy to use. The quality is actually better than what I could have imagined.

This hairdryer works great. The design is very convenient and makes the drying process go quicker. It's very easy to use and it dries my hair quickly. It's very durable and has great volume control leaving the hair pretty flat. my hair is very thick and very curly and I recommend this product. It gets very hot and blow dried after a few passes. It's not loud at all and there are multiple settings that you can use based off your hair type and texture. I've always struggled with finding a blow dryer that doesn't hurt to use after a while. I have very thick hair and it only took me about 30 minutes to do my entire head after immediately getting out of the shower. I have 3b hair and it's pretty damaged but this didn't cause any extra damage with the right hair protectant. I also recommend a light serum to get it more flat.

This is my granddaughter's first blow dryer. She loved it! Good quality, works well, with an easy-to-use brush design and effective heat settings that dry hair quickly.

I brought this product in March of 2021. I used it a lot on my boys hair and mine throughout the years, and it was doing an amazing job. Barely any hair loss, it stretched/straightened out nicely, quickly dried and protected our hair. I’ve noticed in the winter of 2024 the handle kept getting hot causing me to turn it off to let it cool off. Now fast forward to 12/20/25 the dryer burned the entire front of my hair off and the rest of my hair is damaged. When I seen my hair go up in smoke I stopped and seen what looked to be blue sparks or flames inside the dryer, going downwards where the handle is. As I write this, I’m wondering if I should by a new one or a different brand. I seen other reviews about the handle being hot after recently purchasing it and that’s not good. Luckily, that wasn’t my experience. I loved it, I’ve had it for a long time, used it a lot, but I’m now hesitant about buying a new one. I’m now debating if I should cut all my hair and start over which was never in the plans especially since my birthday is in less than 2 months. Below is a picture of my youngest son (6).

I watched a video by a well known influencer who basically trashed it but it was on sale for 20$ and I decided to try it. I’m not good at hair styling and always diffuse to dry in the simplest way. I liked this because it’s like a brush not a cylinder one which I’ve tried and either tangles my hair or just takes too long. But this has been a game changer. I use it on low and it heats really well and dries while brushing my hair smooth and straight like the salon! My hair is very long and it takes me about 30’ to get it all sleek and dry. It’s lightweight and the bristles are far apart enough so that they glide through my hair. Of course, I use a heat protector which is really good (Pureology). I love the way my hair feels which is naturally wavy and this actually straightens it without frizz! I haven’t tried the really expensive ones out there but if you’re looking for an efficient, affordable easy to handle brush-drier, look no more! Can’t beat this price!

I like this one, I just think it is so loud. There's gotta be a more quiet option to this. I think overall though, as a woman with 4c hair this is pretty good quality. It gets my hair right! My hair also is done in less than 15 minutes with this. If youre looking for something affordable, easy to use, and small (good for travel and easy to store) i think this is a good buy

My old round brush Revlon dryer was just too hot and left my ends curled up too much. I was so happy to see a flatter brush version. Revlon is getting closer with this...but it's NOT great. It's still Too HOT. This thing will burn you or your hair if you're not careful. I'm not sure why these tools don't offer different temps, not just different airflow. Low airflow does not reduce the heat. And the cool setting doesn't dry hair well. The airflow is too high. On high, the airflow will blow your hair away from this tool. This requires the user to use another hand...which gets burned by the excessive heat. And I got burned from the temperature of my HAIR...not the tool or the hot air. At least the tool is plastic where my round brush blower is metal. The shape is weird and the controls are awkard. This is a two-handed tool, and I wonder if it was tested by someone working one another person's hair. Just to change the temp, one has to find the little knob on the end and twist instead of just flicking a switch. I'm 50ish and the large round handle is a lot for my hands. Why make it round if we're not spinning it like a round brush? Ergonoics could definitely be improved! Bristles dont provide enough grip/resistance. My round blower uses short nylon bristles and, with one hand, I can brush, grip, and curl my hair around the tool. With this one, I have to use my second hand to hold my hair against the brush. This makes finishing the ends very difficult. And, as mentioned above, the temperature is hot and the airflow is excessive. So if you don't hold your hair, it blows away because these bristles provide no "resistance." I guess I'll keep it to dry my roots...but I'd hoped this would replace my blower, round brush blower, and straight iron routine. It will not.

I love this dryer! It is very effective at drying hair. It is so much better at drying without the worry of breaking comb attachments like on other models. It gets hot enough to dry and relax the curl of my 4a-4c hair.
