According to Jennings
My 8.5 years old son loves all "Jennings" books. I give them to him one by one as a reward, and he is happy to talk about these books to everyone in his school. Being born in US, he appreciates British humour. It all started with him listening to the BBC radio program "Jennings goes to school". He asked for that book, and he keeps asking for "more Jennings". Just a note to other parents: I don't know about the 'level' of the book, probably it is for the 5th grade (according to the usual standard), and kids will ask you about the meaning of some words, still for an avid reader it is not that difficult.

A wizard read.
Non stop hilarity as Jennings wends his way through a series of absurd situations with invention, initiative, chance and luck, and always comes out at the far end as, if not exactly the winner, then certainly never as the loser. Anyone who attended school in the 1950s would enjoy and appreciate this book, and the generations which followed will find an equal wealth of pleasure in the reading.

A fun few hours
Like all the Jennings books this is funny and entertaining. An excellent read, particularly with a big mug of tea - this is great reading for when you feel tired/sick/fed-up.

A good read
Bought as a Christmas present for a small boy. Very enjoyable. His parents read it as bedtime stories, chapter by chapter.

Jennings does it again
I read most of the Jennings book years ago in the 1950's. They were funny then and they are still funny now!
