Aircast AirHeel Ankle Support Brace and Dorsal Night Splint (DNS) Care Kit

I could barely walk with the plantar faciitis. Shock Doctor Ultra Insoles (which I also recommend) helped, but still a lot of pain. The Air Heel made an amazing difference, reduced the pain by 70-90%, and allowed me to walk as much as I needed. The straps around the ankle (lower shin) are a problem with my edema so I wear it one hour on, one hour off. At first the Aircast Dorsal Night Splint seemed complex, but when I finally tried it only took one minute to setup, and then only a few seconds to get on or off every night. It is very comfortable, but I toss and turn a lot so only wear it 2-3 hours, but my foot is still better in the morning than when I went to bed. It is important to wear shoes with good insoles (like th Shock Doctor Ultra) 24x7 - even when walking a few feet. When I started I could only do 1-2 toe risers and with great pain; now I can do 30 to 40 with mild discomfort. I can see a complete cure within a few weeks.

Size is smaller than they say you need to order the bigger size

The dorsal night splint causes a lot of pain. I have worn several different night splints, and none have hurt as much as this one. I was originally just wanting to buy the aircast airheel, but found this combo, so figured I would give it a whirl. No matter how loose I adjust the straps, the heel opening elastic, ends up biting into my achilles area within a few hours. I tried wearing this DNS for 2 weeks, and never made it through the night. I was woken up several times per night, and tried to adjust it, only to end up ripping it off in the middle of the night. And yes, it is the right size.Will add to this review when I get a chance to test the airheel/cast.

The aircast is definitely helping with heel pain. After a few days you don't realize you are wearing it. The night splint is also helping. Both products for the price have been a good deal for me

It runs smaller and the straps limit the size that you can use it on. I needed a bigger one. Luckily, my wife was able to use this one.

Didn’t work for me to tight

Aircast Airheel was the difference between being able to walk and not being able to do so, especially at night. The air cushion provided a great deal of comfort with the painful first steps getting out of bed. It is also thin enough to wear with certain shoes. This is an apparatus to provide comfort, and doesn't help the condition go away. It wasn't until I had a corticosteroid shot that the underlying condition was resolved.All in all, this is worth it, though on the down side, it doesn't feel particularly well made, and the material makes your feet very moist.

Company did a great job witgh this product. I just did not like how it felt. Only keep for one day. Re stocking fee was a downer!
