The yarn is thick not very soft but definitely warm and heavier. Beginners may have trouble with the looser strands.Ad Description says there are 106 yds but sadly my packaging label says 87. Makes my project a little pricier than anticipated.

I was surprised how quickly I finished an ear warmer using this yard. The colors were a bit off from the listing, that was to be expected. I was shocked with how soft this yarn felt. It is warmer that other yarns I used to make war warmers.

I bought 3 of these Troll colorway, and only one was exact as pictured. Im happy, my daughter is excited! My first blanket ever and so far it seems like it will take forever to get done but I can't stop now.

It’s not soft like advertised. It’s more course and heavy for coats and cardigans. For me, it’s too heavy of a yarn for a top down sweater. I’m using it to knit a loose jacket. The tweed look is beautiful.

The yarn is super bulky and soft. It is easy to knit and there was no issue with the yarn. The threads stay together and no breaks or separations when knitting.Perfect for your project!

I used this yarn for my very first crochet project and it was so easy to work with. It was the perfect thickness, it was large enough to easily see every stitch I made but not so large that it was hard to work with. I think this yarn is perfect for beginners like myself.My one complaint is that the colouring is not consistent throughout each skein. I had somewhat underestimated how much yarn I would need so I had gone back and re-ordered another skein (same colour and name) and when it arrived you could see the colour was quite noticeably different from the other one I had previously bought a day prior. I went ahead and use it anyway because it was my very first crochet project so I didn’t care how it would look in the end as I was just trying to get the hang of things but I can see this being quite problematic if you were taking the aesthetics of your crochet project seriously.

Eine wunderbare Wolle mit einem sehr schönen Farbverlauf. Ich habe mir einen Schlauchschal gehäkelt, der von vielen schon bewundert wurde.Der Schal ist wunderbr weich und kuschelig und preiswert. Ich habe mir noch einen Knäuel mit einem anderen Farbverlauf bestellt.

I have purchased several colour ways of this yarn, wood nymph, mermaid, pegasus, chimera, serpent, wizard, sphynx, and have been happy with them all.The yarn feels soft for a pure acrylic and is a pleasure to work both crochet and knit. It's also flexible I've used needle/hook sizes from 4mm to 6mm to achieve different looks.Sometimes I do find a knot join in a ball, this I nothing unusual in my experience (I've found knot joins even in 25g and 50g balls) and is easily dealt with anyway I just remove the knot and attach the yarn as I would for a colour or ball change.All in all good value, lovely to work with, great colours I plan to be using a lot of this yarn :)

Lovely soft wool, great colourways. I am using a 3.5mm hook not the 5mm as suggested by the ball band. 5 felt way to big and the work too loose.I bought the original 2 balls in January and loved the wool but in September I bought one futher ball using 'buy again'. This wool is hard and does not have the same soft drape. It does not feel the same at all. I would not have bought this again. I'm very disappointed. Was this a substitute supplier? Was this really Lion Brand yarn?

Such lovely soft wool and was a pleasure to knit with until I came across a bit that was two separate bits of wool tied together was really disappointed I came across 6 different bits like that
