Lu Over the Wall brings humans and merfolk together with surprising outcomes. Kai lives in a small fishing town with his superstitious grandfather. The old man warns him of the dangers of the merfolk, who believes will cause him harm. When confronted by bullies, Kai is helped by Lu – a fun-loving mermaid who loves music but is vulnerable to sunlight. With a local seafood company posing a threat to the town and a number of its inhabitants, hostile towards the merfolk, Lu, Kai and his friends must band together to ensure both communities survive. This funky, upbeat tale is full of energy and features cute merdogs, musical mermaids and a giant humanoid shark. Contains the film on DVD with both the English dub and the original Japanese track with English subtitles.

Going into this movie you need to understand that the artstyle will be very rough, this is deliberate. What makes this film so good is it's very unique style, music and characters.It's a great, feel good film

Can’t even watch
I got this go right Christmas and yet the film is in french I can’t change it to English however the case does not state that this even has french audio or subtitles.

My family simply enjoyed the movie! It was very family friendly! The movie had a very fun vibe to the old days and was very sweet adventure.
